i dont know why this guy's cd is being overlooked the cd is just simply awesome justin shows he's got the voice and style to be a star the cd is filled with ballads pop r&b and even a song with a larin beat justin did a great job considering the album is only 30% him and 70% compromise now the songsthe album starts of with one heart to many pretty good opener has a latin feel to it could maybe dance to it next is i saw your face written by babyface one of the best song's on the album justin show's his smooth side on this song the lyrics maybe a little to mature for his young fans but all in all a great song
heartbreaker is next another r&b song has slow midtempo beat a little usher-style but a great song then comes unchained melody justin does a great job with this song considering he doesnt have the strongest voice but great job
next is justin's first single sorry it has a funky beat and a micheal jackson feel and the closet song to rock great song and should have been a hit but he was robbed by rca cause there was no push for the single next is the beautiful r&b song how will you know i love the lyrics to this song and justin's voice is great he sounds sincere on the song great job
inner child my least fav song on the album has an energetic fun beat but sounds like justin was forced to do this song so i would say this song is alright next is condition of my heart my fav song on the album really sad song justin really showcases his vocals on this song a really beautiful r&b ballad written by brian mcknight
doin things is next another midtempo r&b song the song is pretty good could see it as his next single then comes if you wanna great pop song written by wade robinson co written by justin perfect for his next single and could get justin on the map could really see justin showcasing his dance moves in a video great song
thinking of you another r&b ballad written by jt pretty good song love the meaning of the song the next song get here is a safe song for justin very popular song from american idol 1 of course justin does a grat job and it a new version
and last but not least maybe the best song on the album timeless duet with kelly clarkson a very beautiful love duet justin's voice is simply amazing on this song and so is kelly's just a great job on this song love it.
i hope this review will help you but all in all a definite must buy cant wait for his next cd which will be more of him.

As an 'older generation" music buyer, I am so impressed with this debut CD by Justin Guarini. The wonderful mix and blend of R&B and Pop makes for fantastic listening!!! While Justin proved himself to be a young man with amazing talent and charisma on American Idol, once outside of the constraints of the AI format, Justin has finally been able to really show us just how SPECIAL he is and with a maturity that belies his 'tender' years. This CD is an eclectic mix of songs laced with a touch of R&B, soul, funk....all done with what will most certainly come to be known as the JUSTIN G. touch - his unique gift of INTERPRETING the music and lyrics! Justin 'draws' the listener into the music. This is a gift few artists today are blessed with. Justin simply has "IT". He can touch your heart, make you simply grin, make you want to jump up and dance!!!... and he does it all on this first CD!! His vocal skills impact you full force when called for, rythmically lift your spirits at times and gently soothe your soul and heart at others. His ballads are sung with an emotion that almost transcends the lyrics, as in the beautifully emotional CONDITION OF MY HEART. And though I was initially surpised that he was to do a cover of UNCHAINED MELODY....well, Clay you may be able to belt this one out, but to quote a line from Chorus Line-I FELT NOTHING! Justin Guarini brought tears to my eyes with his version....it is a beautiful, poignant, soulful rendition. My favorites (if forced to choose) include I SAW YOUR FACE, SORRY, DOIN' THINGS, CONDITION OF MY HEART, ONE HEART TOO MANY, BE A HEARTBREAKER, HOW WILL YOU KNOW, INNER CHILD, IF YOU WANNA, UNCHAINED MELODY, THINKING OF YOU, GET HERE and TIMELESS (a beautiful ballad with his friend Kelly Clarkson). I take it back, I really can't pick a favorite!!... and that is Justin's gift to the listener...a CD you can pop in and listen to from beginning to end and feel so, so satisfied throughout! Having seen this charming, gracious, handsome young man in interviews and performances on TV, one would have to be comatose not to recognize Justin's STAR quality. I haven't seen this kind of 'MAGIC' in a long time....so THANK YOU JUSTIN GUARINI! I anxiously await your music videos, because watching you sing is double the pleasure! You came along for this music lover 'JUSTIN' time!! To all of these people who are reviewing the Guarini cd just to bash it, I have a question? Why are you still thinking about him a year in a half after the show is over, and a year after the release of his disc? Is it because you know he really is a talent but you were jealous of him on the show and want to make sure you help 19 Management keep him down? It is now an established fact that the poor sales of his cd is due to poor management. Think! Millions voted for Justin, and when the show ended his name was as much, if not more, known than Kelly's. Justin is the reason the show stayed on the air. His fan base started the tradition of having signs in the audience and traveling to the show just to see their favorite new singer. On the final show Justin and Kelly had to sing two new songs, not only one like the last two seasons. Both of the songs were "Diva" style songs, even Paula and Simon admitted to that. So for all the new people who only tuned in for the last show, who did not watch it all season, all they saw was Kelly nail her style of music, plus her one allowed song of choice, and they saw Justin nail only one song, his song of choice.{Although he did very fine jobs of the other two) He was only signed by RCA to prevent a direct competition with Kelly while both their names were hot. They did not allow him to have a single right after the show, as Clay had as the runner up, plus, they waited nearly a year later to release his disc. As well, they allowed him to make NO videos to support his cd or to open a show for another headliner. Their were no commercials or major billboards to promote the realease of the disc. Justin moved over 130 thousand units in under a month for his unpromoted disc, well on the way to at least Gold status. Then RCA refused to ship the re-orders to the stores. These are the facts. As well, Justin sings with passion and uses his own style. Kelly, Tamyra, Rubin and Fantasia all sound like a million artist we have heard before. Only Clay is an original Like Justin. And of course he was the runner up too. However, Clay was given Billboards, commercial advertisments, videos and concerts, plus a single the moment the show ended. I am not trying to say that Justin is the natural Vocalist Clay is. Clay is as good as any one ever, as far as natural talent goes. But Justin has a very good emotional voice, and Is the Best ETERTAINER the show has put forth.Free Music Review: JUSTIN "UNLEASHED"

After almost a year after American Idol's first season, Justin Guarini FINALLY finds his own voice. Let me tell you, it is well worth the wait. It's impossible to pick a favorite because all the tracks are great! "Sorry" is deliciously original. Very interesting background beat, great intro, nice "mood building" throughout the song...Great bridge. Sexy and different.
On "One Heart too Many", Justin tackles the Latin flavor. Very sensual. Catchy beat and lyrics. Justin has that "vulnerability" prevalent in the popular Latin artists.
"I Saw Your Face" is SO sensual. Love the studio effect (echo). So effective! Nice sultry background beat. Great R&B vibe.
Both "Be a Heartbreaker" and "How Will I Know" are so romantic. His voice is so silky, smooth and haunting. You just melt listening to these two songs.
His two cover tracks, "Get Here" and "Unchained Melody" are quite beautiful...Of course, if you love Justin's voice and his "sensitivity", you will treasure these two tracks. This version of "Get Here" This version is very low-key, very soulful. The arrangement is absolutely beautiful. "Unchained Melody" is a treasure. Justin gives us a subtle, beautiful interpretation. A "new" version of a beautiful "classic." It draws you in...Has a "floating" quality. Mesmerizing!
His "Inner Child" can simply be defined as fun and joyful. It's a taste of absolute freedom. It may not quite "fit" with the style of some of the other tracks, but he does give it his "Justin touch". Love the energy and optimism in this one! Great vocals!
Some surprises are "Condition of my Heart" and "Doin things we're not supposed to." "Condition of my Heart" is absolutely beautiful. Here, Justin exposes himself--shows vulnerability. Quite moving. "Doin' things" has a nice sensual beat and sensual lyrics. Justin at his best.
"If You Wanna" has a nice funky beat. Wade Robson, Justin and Carol Bayer-Sayer co-wrote this one. "Thinking of you" has a nice vibe as well. It was interesting to see Justin Timberlake's name in the writing credits of this one.
The full version of "Timeless", his duet with Kelly Clarkson, is quite beautiful. Nice arrangement.
Justin Guarini is definitely an "original." You will enjoy this entire CD. Justin Guarini has quite a future ahead of him! I'm looking forward to following him throughout his career.

Wow, I knew his CD would be good, but not THIS good. I watched every episode of American Idol and he captured my heart. Every song is awesome and really lets you see what he can do as an artist.One Heart Too Many - beautiful. I love the way it starts and it's an incredible way to start off a CD
I Saw Your Face - one word: sexy. It's a very sexy song and his voice goes soooo well with it. "So damn beautiful"
Be A Heartbreaker - a personal fav of mine just because he's telling women what to look out for with guys. That's always a plus.
Unchained Melody - personally, when he did this song on American Idol, I didn't really like it because her performed after Clay and Clay blew it out of the water, but when I got the CD, he sounded soooo good. I think the Righteous Brothers would be proud.
Sorry - I love the beat to the song. I'm glad it's his first single even though I have yet to hear it on the radio.
How Will You Know - really sweet. I loved the song. In fact, my bf dedicated this song to me. He's not a big fan of Justin but he liked the song.
Inner Child - another fav of mine. It's good remake of Texas' Inner Smile. It sounds like he's having a good time. Just right for a party. I love the high note at the end!
Condition of My Heart - such a sweet song. Heartbreak is always tough. I think he really did an excellent job on this song. He really poured his heart into this one.
Doin' Things (We're Not Supposed To)- this song makes me laugh in a good way though. He's willin to break the rules so he could be with his girl. Sounds like he has a little bad boy in him.
If You Wanna - this song reminds me of Micheal Jackson. The only thing I don't like is that "scissor" sound throughout the whole song but I still like the song.
Thinking Of You - another sweet song and fav of mine. He poured his heart into this too.
Get Here - good remake of Oletta Adams version. I like this version better than hers. This version has a softer beat than hers. It's good.
Timeless - this is a good song too but Kelly's voice overpowers Justin a little. That's the only problem with this song but overall it's a pretty good song.
Like I said, his whole CD is awesome, but don't take my word for it. Go out and buy it for yourself!!
