I am tremendously impressed w/ Guarini's debut album. Overall, the compilation of songs makes for a cohesive listening experience, displaying a mature, smooth and soulful vocal finesse. Guarini's voice is spectacular and his delivery is incredible. One of the pleasures of listening to Guarini is his innate ability to meaningfully deliver the lyrics of a song. It's an intangible quality that separates good singers from the exceptional. Sure, there is a 1st album "not quite right for the album" inclusion in "Unchained Melody", but, overall, this is one fantastic debut. No reservations... none. It's good. One thing I demand of a singer is that the singer has to move me... and Guarini really does. It is so obvious the guy knows what the heck he is singing about, not just stringing together some musical notes.... he is telling me stories and the delivery is captivating. "ISYF"-It's a great r&b soulful tune and Guarini sounds like a seasoned pro. "Condition of My Heart"- Great lyrics and his aching defiant delivery is superb. "Sorry"- Once again, Guarini's delivery is a killer and the song is unique. "Thinking of You"- To the gal he's singing to... what the heck are you waiting for?! Get yourself over to that little house. "How Will You Know?"- "I would never hurt you." I believe him. "Be a Heartbreaker"- This one wasn't a favorite at first, but now I so get it. Great. Sexy cool. "One Heart Too Many"- Love the Latin flavor... will be a great song to see him perform. "Doing Things"- Oh yeah. Once again, awesome delivery. "I Wanna"- It's fun, shows a different side of him... pop funk. "Inner Child"- I prefer the songs with more depth, but he works it. "Get Here"- Glad it's here because it holds a special place in my heart. "Timeless"- Definitely like it, they both sound good... I just prefer all Justin, all the time. "Unchained Melody"- His voice is beautiful, but this track seems out of place. Bottom line: Guarini is impressive and the CD is excellent.
Free Music Review: WOW! Justin is incredible! He IS going to be a hit!!!!!! Hit: 5 Stars
Wow.....I've been waiting for this CD for so long, and wow, I was not disappointed. Not only was I satified with it, I was COMPLETELY blown away! This is one of my favorite albums of all time due to how every song is incredible. GO AND GET HIS ALBUM! Here's why Justin's debut album is amazing, and why he will be a he has serious staying, chart power:Justin has so much talent vocally. His voice is absolutely flawless with it's relaxing and smooth style. His voice blends with his R&B/Pop type of music. Every note Justin sings is so influential, he puts it all into his music! The songs on his album fit him perfectly, and guys like Brian McKnight, Justin Timberlake, and Babyface have co-wrote songs for his album. They are all beautiful and merge together with Justin's voice like nothing I've ever heard before. You can close your eyes and you really do get shivers of how incredible and polished he is as a vocalist. Most of all, this is Justin. No American Idol promotion. This is Justin Guarini. He completely creates his own style. While every song sounds like his new style, there are a good variety of songs. The love songs are some really some of the most remarkabley sung and written songs of all time yet they don't get "slow" or "boring". They always come together in the song and make you go, "wow". And some of the more upbeat songs make you get on your feet yet they are still meaningful and are written brilliantly. Overall, I just don't know what to say, I am so blown away with how incredible Justin Guarini's debut album was. No way did I think his debut would be one of the most exhilarating and emotionally beautiful albums I've ever heard. I just want to say, Justin Guarini is AMAZING, and his album is ingeniously done. His voice is just beautiful, one of the best voices in music right now! Justin Guarini is HERE to stay! Go and order/get this album, not only will you not be disappointed, you CAN'T be! :)

I didn't appreciate American Idol till it was over. I didn't think I would waste time reviewing American Idol CDs but there was American Idol day on Oprah and they all impressed me so now I'm obsessed. These American Idol CDs are actually good! 1. One Heart Too Many-sounds Jamician or something...still good, though. Good beat, good lyrics. 2. I Saw Your Face-romantic. It doesn't sound like him, though. 3. Be A Heartbreaker-this sounds like another song...it's good. *thinking* I'm absolutely loving this CD. 4. Unchained Melody-ugh! This is bad! I mean, if you were having a romantic moment with someone, dancing with them on the beach with the sun going down, this song would sound REALLY romantic but if you're not in that setting, forget it! 5. Sorry-this is the song that drew me to this album. I love this song! I loved the lyrics but hated the beat but now I love the lyrics and love the beat! 6. How Will You Know-smooth song with a beat 7. Inner Child-love it! 8. Condition Of My Heart-Justin Guarini, please do not do anymore slow songs. Romantic, fast songs, yes. Romantic, slow songs, no. 9. Doin' Things (We're Not Supposed To)-I don't know why but this reminds me of B2K...I have mixed feelings about it. 10. If You Wanna-reminds me of Justin Timberlake...love this song! It's so dancable! :) 11. Thinking Of You-love this! :) 12. Get Here-okay, okay, I take it back...Justin Guarini, go ahead and do romantic, slow songs...as long as they sound like this, that is! 13. Timeless - (with Kelly Clarkson)-ahhh! Make it stop! OMG! I love this CD! The only bad tracks are: #4, #8, #13 and the so-so track is: #9. The rest...priceless. GET THIS CD! It's not what you expect at all!

I must say i was a little nervous before listening to this cd, but after listening to it once, I was amazed! It is very R&B and that is what I love! Here is a run down of the songs and what I thought:1. One Heart Too Many - its got a latin feel to it, not the best song but smooth 2. I saw your face - a song written by the best song maker on earth - Babyface, its a pretty, lovey-dovey song 3. Be a Heart Breaker - i usually skip through this one but it still ain't that bad of a song 4. Unchained melody - i love the original, and justin definately pulled this one off! 5. Sorry - I'm really glad this will be his first single, i think the public will definately like this beat, his vocals are off the hook 6. How will you know - smooth/pretty 7. Inner child - this song is probably the closest to a pop song, but it makes me wanna get up and dance! 8. Condition of My Heart - this one is written by Brian McKnight and you can tell, its real good 9. Doin' things (were not supposed to)- this is a song to realx to 10. If you wanna - GREAT dancing song, also, co-written by the talented Mr. Timberlake 11. Thinking of you - the typical slow love song at the end of any album 12. Get Here(new version) - It is really a new version (not like kelly's new version BYL and AMLT) i think its really pretty and it's sung like it is supposed to be 13. Timeless w/ Kelly Clarkson - this one is my favorite, its different, i love the beginning! I think this album is definately worth buying. Simply Beautiful!

Justin Guarini's backlash has taken effect and people have been quick to judge before actually picking up this album. Being an "Idol" fan, I have been quick to give each contestant a chance to impress me. While some of them have failed, Guarini has surpringly impressed me. It is obvious his stage presence is already in line (as I saw on the 'American Idol Tour'), and his voice has always been top notch, but the album had many people skeptical. The opening track "One Heart Too Many" has an amazing beat and Latin vibe to it, it could have potentially been one of the biggest hits of the year. "I Saw Your Face" is a smooth R&B track similar to what you can hear on everyday mainstream radio. His remake of "Unchained Melody" gives many other versions a run for their money, and the first (and only?) single "Sorry" is a very diverse and original recording. As each song happens to measure up to the next, the standout track is without a doubt the duet with a little girl named Kelly Clarkson - "Timeless". This song is an amazingly powerful ballad that outshines, outsings, and outlasts any other duet. If released at the right time by the right people, this could have gone on to win Grammys left and right. Guarini and Clarkson really had it going on with this one. Sadly I am still unaware as to why RCA decided not to promote Justin with this incredibly made album. Hopefully he does indeed get himself with the right people and outdo his debut album. My advice to everybody is to give this album a chance - you just might be surprised.
