WHILE I HAVE REVIEWED JUSTIN GUARINI'S CD PREVIOUSLY (AND LOVE IT BY THE WAY) I ENJOY READING OTHER LISTENER'S VIEWS AND COMMENTS SO I OFTEN 'STOP BY' TO READ THE LATEST. I FELT COMPELLED TO RESPOND TO WHAT I FEEL WERE IRRESPONSIBLE COMMENTS FROM 'MUSIC FAN' WHO CLAIMS THAT MR.GUARINI 'RAN OVER' A LITTLE GIRL AND 'ALMOST KILLED' HER!! THAT IS NOT THE CASE AT ALL, EVEN AS REPORTED IN THE 'WORST OF THE JOURNALISTIC RAGS'! WHILE HE INDEED DID NOT HAVE ADEQUATE CONTROL OF HIS JET SKI WHEN BRINGING IT TO SHORE, HE DID NOT HIT THE LITTLE GIRL!! AND IN A RECENT INTERVIEW THE LITTLE GIRLS FATHER, HE ADMITTED THAT JUSTIN WAS IN FACT VERY APOLOGETIC AND HAD EVEN SCARED HIMSELF. WE ALL SHOULD BE MATURE ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT THE 'NEWS' WHERE CELEBRITIES ARE CONCERNED IS USUALLY NOT FACTUALLY ACCURATE, BUT INSTEAD IS 'SKEWED' IN ORDER TO MAKE FOR MORE 'INFLAMMATORY' READING! LET'S NOT JUDGE THIS TALENTED YOUNG MAN BY ONE 'ACCIDENT' IN HIS LIFE BUT RATHER BY HIS WONDERFUL MUSIC AND THE MAJORITY OF REPORTS FROM INTERVIEWERS, FANS, AND INDUSTRY PROFFESSIONALS WHO HAVE FOUND JUSTIN TO BE GRACIOUS,INTELLIGENT, AND KIND TO EVERYONE....MOST ESPECIALLY CHILDREN!!Free Music Review: Awesome Justin Guarini

I loved the Cd. I went out and bought it at 10:00 am the day it came out. I have always loved Justin since I heard him audition, he was the only reason I stayed tuned in to watch AI. I was expecting to only have a few good songs on his Cd because that is usually how it is on other people's CD's. You know there is usually only 3 or 4 that you listen to and fastforward the rest. You know what I mean. Been there done that. I was really inmpressed with all the songs except unchained melody and Get here. They were not as good as the AI CD season 1. I love the duet with him and Kelly "Timeless" they make magic when their voices are combined WOW. I love his voice his style his everything, yes, I even love his sexy hair, Ha. If you are thinking of getting this CD do it you will be glad you did. I love all the songs except the two I listed. Awesome 1st Cd and I know the next one will be even better because he will be broken away from AI and he will totally be himself "Justin" I know he as that slow jam sex appeal in him which was obvious on this Cd But I am really waiting for the next one, so hurry boy this texan girl loves ya MMMM I love him.Free Music Review: Fabulous debut CD

Justin really displays the range of his abilities on this debut CD. "Sorry" and "Be a Heartbreaker" have an urban hip-hop feel that many may not expect from Justin. He brings in an R&B vibe with the sensual "I Saw Your Face" and even a bit of a latin flavor in "One Heart Too Many".He also shows he can handle a classic love ballad in "How Will You Know" and a beautiful rendition of "Unchained Melody". While "Unchained" has certainly been covered to death, I find myself listening to this one over and over again. Justin brings an incredible emotion and longing to the melancholy "Condition of My Heart" which is one of my favorites. The power ballad "Timeless" with Kelly Clarkson is nothing less than phenomenal.
Another favorite of mine is "If You Wanna" which is hard to classify, but reminds me of a Janet Jackson style song when she was in her heyday. Finally, I dare you to sit still listening to the Pop beat of "Inner Child" which is just plain fun!
While there is a range of styles on this CD it all flows together into one wonderful musical experience. Very impressive debut album!

I LOVE this CD - listen to it everyday!!! It has soft, slow, relaxing songs and wonderfully upbeat ones as well. Whatever mood your in, you'll enjoy listening to his CD. Justin has a special soothing quality to his voice - like listening to honey.(I was disappointed to read so many childish, negative reviews. It's more than obvious that people who are putting down his voice and/or his physical attributes did not plunk down the money to actually listen to his CD!!! A sad and complete waste of negative energy to try to harm someone's career. But no worries, Justin will do well on his own merits!!!)
I really love listening to this CD from beginning to end. Justin's voice is soothing to the heart and soul!!
The only downside I felt this CD had was a sometimes overpowering beat. Justin performs beautifully a capella or with just a piano in the background. I would love for his next CD to feature songs that would showcase the haunting emotions and moods his voice can evoke (i.e. the Pasadena version of Get Here or his a capella renditions of Steal Away or Ave Maria)!

I am not your average teenage Justin Guarini fan, I am over 35. I have a very extensive music collection of all genre. I have never reviewed a CD that I didn't like, mostly because I don't buy things I don't like and I don't write reviews for things I haven't heard. I think that most of the neg. reviews of this CD are people who haven't listened to it, and have an axe to grind because they hate American Idol or are fans of other other AI contestants. It is obvious that one of the reviewers is a fan of Clay Aiken. Justin has only had nice things to say about all of the AI contestants but for some reason the fans of the others feel a need to put him down. I suppose it is jealousy.This is a very good CD especially for a first effort. It was Clive Davis' idea to record Unchained Melody so if you don't like it, put him down not Justin. It seems being an AI contestant is hurting Justin. If this CD had been released under a different name it would be one the years best sellers.
The more you listen to this CD the better it gets, so give it chance. You won't be sorry.
