Free Music Notes for Justin Guarini

Free Music Review: LOVE IT!!
Hit: 5 Stars

This Cd is great!!! For those who like R&B this Cd is for you!
Even if you weren't an AI fan, and like smooth R&B, with a little mix, you will like this cd. He has a fresh sound. I was pleasantly surprised. Each time I listen to the Cd, I am more convinced that the majority of the songs on here would be hits if released on the radio.

Love the latin flavor of "One heart too Many"

"I Saw Your face" and "Doing Things We're not Supposed To" are definate slow dancing songs.

In "Condition of my heart" the soulful flavor of Brian Mcknight comes across. (by the way he wrote it).

I can picture a video for "Heartbreaker" Just love that song.

"If You Wanna" is an all out JAM! definantly hit single material.

The only thing on this Cd that disappointed me was the cover. I would have liked to see a close-up shot focusing on his eyes (smile). (by the way, I am 30-something, married, and a mom, for those of you who think he is just for the teens...)

Free Music Review: An album you want to listen to again and again
Hit: 5 Stars

This album surprised me. I decided to check it out after seeing Guarini perform on The Tonight Show. This album should be getting better reception than it is, because I've seldom heard an album that has almost nothing on it I didn't like. Guarini's voice is that of a young, soulful singer. He's got a great falsetto. But he doesn't over rely on it. At times, his voice evokes Michael Jackson when Michael Jackson was good. "If You Wanna" in particular is an example of that. He isn't an imitator, though. I'm impressed with his ability to sing R&B like "I Saw Your Face" and rock like "Inner Child" as well as ballads like "Condition of My Heart." I like this album better than Justin Timberlake's (though I like his, too) because Guarini has a stronger voice and doesn't rely on production as much. Pick up this album if you want to listen to some smooth grooves that you will leave in your player on repeat.
