This CD is the most original and enjoyable kids' music we've had in this house! Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players really know how to rock out! Justin Roberts is a great songwriter with something for everyone -- rockin' music, clever lyrics and sensitivity to what is important to kids. I love the songs "Best Friend," "Roller in the Coaster" and "Humpty's at it Again" -- songs about life and philosophy, yet very accessible to children. Also, for really dancing around, there's "Doctor Doctor," "Daycamp" and the title track, "Way Out." Thank God for Justin Roberts! I was so sure I would never let my son Max listen to "kid's music" and I was raising him on a healthy diet of The Ramones, Modest Mouse & the Flaming Lips. But then a friend gave me Justin's "Great Big Sun" album and my little man went nuts! Best of all, it's music that me and my husband enjoy listening to with him. We recently took him to one of Justin's concerts and it was a blast. I actually think that the parents were enjoying it as much as the kids. Justin's new album, "Way Out' is so great, catchy, fun and SO NOT "annoying kid's music"!Free Music Review: Great again!!

We recieved "Way Out" a few weeks back and it has been on our CD player almost constantly since. We have all of Justin Roberts CDs (including his adult CD "Bright Becomes Blue") and this one is just as good as the rest. I am amazed that someone can write such fine childrens songs that adults also like. I just hope the word gets out on Mr. Roberts. I can't believe he keeps writing amazingly different songs!! Justin's latest CD is a must have to any current or soon to be fan. This album is high energy , upbeat and orginal. He is a brillant songwriter and no listener will be disappointed!

My son and daughter (ages 4 and 2) are the biggest Justin Roberts fans! His stuff is all my daughter is willing to listen to in the car, and heaven help us if we don't turn on the "Roberts." Fortunately we the parents love Justin Roberts too. His voice and songwriting are a pleasure to listen to and the lyrics always make us smile without being cutesy.
