This album is more than I'd hoped for. She has a great blend of pop, folk, blues, jazz and rock, Her voice is cool and her melodies are unexpected. My favs are Suddenly I See and Heal Over. Some songs have a Cheryl Crow feel, some more Ella Fitzgerald-like and there's one that reminds me of the Pretenders! I'm so glad that I bought this on a whim.Free Music Review: Excellent

Its incredible that artists like this who struggle busking and playing cafes for 15 yrs are lucky to get a break while crappy pop idols (ironic in this case!) are propelled to greatness overnight..

I knew I liked several of the tracks, because I had heard them before, but it was even a better surprise, once I received the CD.
