Y'all be hatin on Kanye West too much but I'm just hear to say this dude is better than 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, Baby a.k.a. Birdman, and Bow Wow. This dude can spit the truth and still the song will be tight. His debut album "College Dropout" is a great way for Kanye West to start. Cop this album if you haven't already.

even though bought this CD bout a year ago I still l it. At first I was like "o great another wannabe rapper!" But after I heard Through The Wire I was still skeptical but then I saw a sale for him so I decided to buy it and I was like WHOA THIS GUY'S RAPS ARE HOT!!!
Intro- Just a regualar intro i guess...N/A
We Don't Care- This song is probably one of best songs in the album. It really talks bout the hood on school. It has a really great beat and catchy chorus. 9.5/10
Graduation Day- Well at first the skit i weird but at the end It gets good on the singing! N/A
All Falls Down- I actually really like this song. Sylenna Johnson is good on the vocals in the song. Kanye's raps are hot as well. 8.5/10
I'll Fly Away- Um...GOSPEL SKIT!!! singing is good though N/A
Spaceship- The chorus doesn't really hit me and the beat isn't that great but the raps are tight. 7.5/10
Jesus Walks- One of the tightest rap song in HISTORY!! This song actually talks about somthing apart sex, drugs, hos, and bling!! 10/10
Never Let Me Down- This song actually kinda speaks to me. The background music really matches with the song. Hov and J-Ivy really do good in this song. 8.5/10
Get Em High- I'm not really into this song. The only thing I like about the song is the beat and Common haha! 7.5/10
Workout Plan- Hey u gots o 6pack Shakur u know what I'm sayin? HAHAHA!! that's the only thing I like N/A
The New Workout Plan- I don't why but I really love this song!! HAHA!! It just shows his more fun side. I really love the music video!! 10/10
Slow Jamz- I really love this song!!! I think it's just cuz I'm a girl. haha! Not really a difference from Twista's but I still LOVE IT!!!10/10
Breath In Breath Out- This song the best but it's addicting to listen to. It's really weird too. Ludacris is pretty good in this song. 8/10
School Spirit Skit 1- This is stupid but it's funny at the same time HAHA N/A
School Spirit- I think this beat is tight but Kanye is average on this one. 8/10
School Spirit Skit 2- Read 1st one N/A
Lil Jimmy Skit- Um.....yea weird. Too bad no one will do that in real life unless they have no life HAHA!! N/A
Two Words- Mod Def and Freeway are tight in this song. The Harlem's Boys are tight as well. 9/10
Through The Wire- By Slow Jamz, Jesus Walks, We Don't Care, and New Workout Plan, this is one of the hottest too!! I really didn't beleve his mouth was wired when he made this song!! 10/10
Family Bussiness- This song is ok not a real hit. Probably a filler. 6/10
Last Call- This song is pretty good even though it's so frikin ass long!! But if you really listen to it it's really tellin a story. 9/10

It seems that the only good out rapper out there is Kanye West, because Eminem only writes dumb crass tracks (My First Single A**ike that) and 50 cent writes about how rich he is and how poor you are.
This is how rap music... should sound like.
He writes about his confrontations with the demons inside him, his relationships, plus he has a great rap voice.
Usually I hate rap (except K-Os) but this is some good rap for a change.
Plus this CD is great too! full of great bouncy and catchy rap, anyone will like this!
