Short and sweet review. If you already have her other works, grab this one, probably her best of the three.
If you don't have any of her previous, buy this one and the others as well.
There have been times I have listened to this 2 times in a row. I never bounce around and cherry-pick any of the tracks, I play it start to finish. No too much music out there today that I can do that with.
FWIW, just buy it already!

I loved Kathleen Edwards' previous albums, and I was a little concerned that this album wouldn't live up to my expectations. At first listen, my socks weren't knocked off; however, I left in in the CD player in my car and it hasn't been taken out yet...that was a month ago. KE's melodies and lyrics stick in my mind because they are so poignant and affecting. I didn't think it could happen, but I think I might like this album the best of KE's three.Free Music Review: I will gladly wait for three years for Kathleen's next release.

To this day, "Failure" is constantly in my playlist rotation, "Back to Me" has grown on me, and now another fine recording from Kathleen Edwards. I worried that she had given us her all, but my fears were unfounded. Thanks Kathleen. Also, if you ever have the opportunity to see Kathleen Edwards live, do not miss her show. Dynamic, fun, and incredible musicianship from all of the band.Free Music Review: There is talent and then there is TALENT!

Every single song on this album is astonishing (and that is not hyperbole)! I have been a fan since her debut some years ago and now with this third album there is no denying she has become one of the very best of the new breed of singer/songwriters. Kathleen did not need the guest artists because her regular band is really really good. No damage though, the production, musicianship and songwriting are just fine. The guests made themselves available because they recognize what a wonderful talent Kathleen is. This is the best of her three fine recent albums.
