Free Music Review: LOVE this CD!!! KEITH URBAN is an upcoming SUPERSTAR!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

LOVE this CD!!! From start to finish... Keith has you enthralled in his musical world. You can't help but get up and dance to "Days Go By." The lyrics ring true... "we talk about forever, but we've only got today." I have been told "forever" by a few men in my life... only to learn that "Days Go By" and "we've only got today." The second song on the CD "Better Life" has a real Aussie flavor. It's an inspirational song encouraging the listener to "dream as big as the sky." "Making Memories of Us" is a perfect song for a wedding. "God's Been Good to Me" is a reminder to be thankful for all that we've been given... even for something as simple as the sun. "Tonight I Wanna Cry" is a song that conveys a man giving in to his tears. He's heartsick about a lost love. The depth and passion that Keith brings to the lyrics can have you in tears. "She's Gotta Be" is a song about a man's regret regarding how he treated his girl. If he could just go back again and "be the man that she could trust, who put her first, who tamed his demons, who healed her hurts, in health and sickness, who helped her grow, with no resentment, true repentance, God as my witness.... yeah, I could be that man she needed me, she needed me to be." Powerful song for any woman who has been treated poorly in a relationship and for any man who has treated a woman poorly. The last song on the CD "These Are The Days" ties in wonderfully with the first song on the CD "Days Go By." "These are the days we will remember... cause days go by." This is an amazing CD!!! I highly recommend this CD to anyone who not only enjoys country music but music in general. Keith's voice has a magical way of allowing the listener to feel the lyrics. In my opinion, Keith Urban is an upcoming SUPERSTAR!!!

Free Music Review: An Inspirational Singer-Keith Urban
Hit: 5 Stars

Keith Urban has sung some great songs on his latest CD called "Be Here." He's a country singer who has three albums out. Capitol released "Be Here" September 21, 2004 for 15.99. He has two other CDs called "Golden Road" and "Keith Urban." He has been singing since he was about ten years old. He was born in Australia until his father decided to move to the United States. There, Keith Urban became a country singer in Tennessee. He is a really great singer and I hope you like his music to.

Many people have great opinions about his looks, music, and his voice. Keith Urban is a well-known country artist who plays the acoustic guitar and has many solos in his music. He is very unique in his voice and his many talents. The first time I heard "Days go By" I immediately knew I loved the songs. Keith Urban truly loves what he does. He said, "That's what it's all about for me... giving all I've got to lift spirits and to raise the roof." I haven't heard his other CDs but I'm sure they're pretty good. On the CD "Be Here" all the songs are influencing, calming, and makes you feel energetic. In my point of view none of the songs are bad, yet there are songs that I like better that others. The CD was rated a five star rating, but I would rate it higher if I could. Keith Urban is hard to compare to someone but I would say he is like Tim McGraw. They don't have the same looks or way of singing, but they do have the same choice in words for their lyrics. Keith Urban has a wonderful and fabulous passion for his singing unlike other artists. I believe he will have a long and successful career and will open many hearts and minds.

Free Music Review: The Raves aRe Right
Hit: 5 Stars

The raves are right! This is simply a classic country CD! Urban goes from strength to strength. There are no weak tracks; although I have my 3 hottest repeaters. The first & obvious choice is the great opening single "Days Go By" written by Urban & Monty Powell. It's got such a great upbeat rocking tempo and Urban's joyful vocals & searing electric guitar lead, "Taillights running through a river of neon signs, but somewhere in the rush I felt we're losing ourselves." Another single, "You're My Better Half," is a great upbeat romantic anthem with the New Zealander's banjo hinting a spice of bluegrass. "Live to Love Another Day" displays zigzag lightning bolt energy, "Summers come, summers go, I'll keep walking down this road." "Country Comfort" first appeared in 1971 on Elton John's "Tumbleweed Connection." Keith resurrects it here in classic country form. The Rodney Crowell/Vince Gill band, The Notorious Cherry Bombs, recorded "Making Memories of Us"; but Keith takes Rodney's lovely melody and milks the romance to a sweet cream. "Better Life" would be THE standout track on most Nashville product, but it takes its place here among a CD of great tracks, "We ain't got much now, we're just starting out, but I know somehow Paradise is comin'." "God's Been Good to Me" is another excellent sentimental diamond. "Be Here" is one of the best albums of exquisite moving rocking country. Bravo!

Free Music Review: Another Platinum for Keith Urban.....
Hit: 5 Stars

Although I don't believe "Be Here" is quite up to par with "Golden Road," there isn't one Keith Urban fan who is not going to get this CD. "Be Here" really is another wonderful gift to us from Keith. I have "doubles" of ALL Keith's CD's (a set for the car and a set for home). And, it will be the same with this latest release! Keith, a man of multiple talents, will always be the Golden Man for his fans. And, he sure has lots of fans! So, this latest CD is well on its way to going platinum or beyond. Just look at its ranking on Amazon!!!! That, in of itself, says a great deal. There's been some debate as to whether Keith's music is "rock" or "country." As with the later work of Rick Nelson, I believe it's a fusion of two styles. Rick Nelson's later works fell into a category now called "rockabilly." And, if you follow sales statistics and even auctions on eBay, Rick Nelson is a hot commodity - even after his untimely death, so many years ago. I am not going to delve into an analysis of each track on "Be Here." I'm not a musicologist! However, I believe the entire package is excellent. Excellent writing, excellent delivery, excellent skill with the strings, excellent everything!! All this adds up to BE HERE being a CD I certainly think is very special. Just watch the charts! I believe I will have a lot of folks joining me in my thoughts.

Free Music Review: Another great country/rock CD!
Hit: 5 Stars

Keith Urban's self-titled debut was pretty much a pop album. On his second record, GOLDEN ROAD, he brought in a heaping helping of rock n roll. He does that again on his third album, and has never sounded better!

Part of the album's success lies in Urban's voice. While not the world's greatest singer by any means, he has figured out how to bring the song to life, as he does on Rodney Crowell's "Making Memories of Us"--making this cliched song one of the best you've ever heard. And then there's "Nobody Drinks Alone", a powerful ballad of overcoming dispair. And he looks back at his mistakes on "She's Gotta Be," while looking ahead on "Days Go By." And the powerful "Tonight I Wanna Cry" is counter-balanced by the light and frisky "Live to Love Another Day."

The album makes its point at the end--coming full circle, in a two-and-a-half minute version of "Days Go By," retitled (with a few additional lyrics) "These Are the Days". BE HERE is not the best album you've ever heard, but it's a good one. It's an album that manages to combine country, pop, and rock n roll into one smooth, rocking sound. Keith Urban has talent in spades, and he knows how to use it. He's a genuine artist: a singer, a songwriter, a guitarist. BE HERE displays all his talents in earnest.
