Free Music Review: Keith Urban Does it Again...
Hit: 5 Stars

This much anticipated BE HERE CD from Keith Urban will not disappoint Urban fan's or newcomers getting their first taste of him, his style, his music! Don't go into listening to this CD by trying to put him in one catagory or another, (Country, pop, whatever...leave those behind, you won't need labels), go into it with an open mind and no distractions and you will definietly be plesantly surprised at the journey this CD, this artist will take you on! From the first single DAYS GO BY which reminds us to slow down, enjoy the moment, be happy for where you are right now because "we've only got today" to other's like, TONIGHT I WANNA CRY, which will stop you in your tracks as he takes you through starting to heal a broken heart or MAKING MEMORIES OF US which is the ulimate love song! Who wouldn't want that kind of love! Who isn't looking for that?

This CD will make you think about choices, life, love and stimulate many emotions and leave you both wanting more and in awe that one man, artist, song writer, musician could achieve so much on one CD! It is a great CD and you will not be able to listen to it just once, it will hook you and will listen to it over and over, each time hearing something new! Just awesome! Enjoy!

Free Music Review: Be Here is a triumph for Keith Urban
Hit: 5 Stars

Be Here is a cd that every country fan should have in their collection, but interestingly enough, so should any guitar fan. What Urban does with a guitar is almost unbelievable. Face it; this guy is multitalented and when it comes to his guitar, Urban stands in a very small elite group of guitar greats. From the uplifting "Days Go By" to the reprisal of the theme of living life to its fullest on "These Are The Days," Urban packs a tight punch. If the guitar riffs don't pull you in, then the lyrics probably will, and if the lyrics don't get you, then Keith's beautiful tenor voice should do the trick. Whether he's performing songs that he wrote, co-wrote or depending on the masters like Rodney Crowell's magnificent "Making Memories Of Us" every song is well crafted and executed to its fullest. If you love a good acoustic guitar, then you have to listen to "Making Memories of Us;" it's awesome. This third album will not disappoint any Urban fan or country music fan and will surely continue to gain more listeners from other areas as he continues to URBANIZE country music and music in general. My personal favorites from this cd are "Tonight I Wanna Cry," "Making Memories of Us," "Country Comfort," and of course "Days Go By."

Free Music Review: Keith Urban's best work yet
Hit: 5 Stars

This album is one of the best I've ever heard (5/5). It contains some of the strongest materials a fan/consumer can ask for and it's great for listening no matter what mood you're in...I've listened to this album so many times and the songs still sound as good as the first time I heard them...to me, there's no comparing this album with Golden Road.

Most notable tracks:
*Days Go By - classic Keith Urban song and a very upbeat and enjyable one at that.
*Making Memories of Us - song he sang for Nicole during their wedding reception. This is a very romantic song (for some reason, I imagine this to be something I'd expect Air Supply's Graham Russel to sing solo).
*Tonight I Wanna Cry - should go down the history books as one of the saddest, most depressing songs of all time, and I mean this in a good way. It captures so much emotion, how it feels like after break ups (yes, guys, this is how we feel when we're all alone, tucked away where no one can see us, behind our male pride!).
*Country Comfort - takes me back to when he was still with The Ranch.
These Are the Days - feels like another version of Days Go By, or so the chorus suggests.

Buy it, you'll love it!

Free Music Review: What a roller coaster of an album. When is the next ride!
Hit: 5 Stars

The third album by Keith Urban, "Be Here" puts me in a theme park on a giant roller coaster that makes me excited for further albums! Don't get me wrong, I'm ecstatic about the ride that this album provides, but still a little confused. The first few songs of the album make me want to live a better, more simplistic life with the most satisfying significant other I can possibly find in the world. As the ride continues to excel forward up the long, smooth sailing climb through the next few tunes with a grateful Urban, the coaster comes to a sudden halt and eases back towards the ground at around song 7 entitled "I could fly." It's all down hill from here. At first, the sudden decline is a little frightening, but somehow pleasing to the senses as the album goes through some incredible tracks such as "Tonight I Wanna Cry" and "Nobody drinks alone." Then, all of a sudden, Urban belts out "These are the Days" and the coaster goes right back up again and I'm ready for the next ride with the next album! Keith is an astonishing artist that grasps the ears of not just country listeners, but pop as well. He's created his own genre and continues to fulfill the needs of his listeners with "Be Here."

Free Music Review: Keith - pumping out another great one!
Hit: 5 Stars

Who would have thought that, after the overwhelming success of singles such as Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me and Somebody Like You from 2002's Golden Road, Keith could create an even better album? Be Here is as great as Golden Road, if not better, and anyone who's enjoyed his previous releases will definately fall in love with the latest. Days Go By, the first single released from Be Here immediately gets your attention, but the diversity of the album, from the upbeat You're My Better Half and She's Gotta Be to the heart-wrenching Tonight I Wanna Cry is what really makes you fall in love with Keith Urban. Definately pick up this album, it is one of the best country releases of 2004.

While you're at it, pick up newcomer Katrina Elam's new self-titled debut. The two are touring right now for the CMT Be Here 2004 tour, and if you get the chance to catch one of the remaining performances, don't pass it up. I was lucky enough to see them perform at the Northrop Auditorium in Minneapolis, MN, and it was the BEST concert I've ever seen. Keith Urban is an AMAZING live performer, almost unbelievably so, and Katrina Elam is a great opening act.
