Free Music Review: Possibly his best

Brought this a few days ago and am really impressed. Every song is a winner and I think this is better than his last. The songs are well written and represent typical Keith Urban. My favorite song is "Standing Right In Front Of You" should be a huge hit. The song can be listened to over and over again. Lots of energenic songs.
I'm glad Keith keeps what works. Too many artists try new stuff and it doesn't work. This is definately one of his best albums. Only 11 songs but every one is winner. Rolling Stone only gives this album 2 stars. They say he plays it safe. Rolling Stone magazine has rolled downhill for several years. I'm assuming they are doing poorly since their circulation is way down. They need some talented people there who can really rate and review.

Keith Urban's Defying Gravity is highly entertaining. His lyrics seem to be thoughtfully written and the music either makes you want to dance or soothes the mind, depending on its rhythm. The song "If Ever I Could Love" contains a pleasant array of instruments. It is one reason this CD is difficult to remove from the deck, once it is inserted. "'Til Summer Comes Around" is another destined classic that contributes to this CD's overall greatness. Words also fail me in describing "Only You Can Love Me This Way." Need I say that this work would make a nice anniversary gift.
The last song is a tribute to Urban's wife. This musical compilation is a nice piece of work by one of country's premier artist.

Many people do not like the new side of Keith Urban but I really think it is amazing how much he has changed over the past few years not only as a songwritter but as in his personal life and people really need to understand Keith writes songs from the heart and is going to record how he is feeling and with songs like "Sweet Thing", "Why's It Feel So Long" and "Thank You" it really shows Keith in a different state then the "Golden Road" and "Love, Pain & The Whole Crazy Thing" years and if they calls for a change of song writting then I am glad to hear it because to me Keith writes the best songs with the help of Monty Powell they always turn out just amazing!

I am a longtime fan. I have all his CDs but unfortunately, Keith is not very well known in his original home country New Zealand. I am spreading the word to get his name out there. I saw him in concert in Brisbane, Australia May 2007 and I will be heading that way again for his Defying Gravity Tour! He is too good and I will not miss his show for anything As for the new album - I can't wait till I have it in my hands. It's coming soon..but had to buy it overseas. All the previews sound wonderful!
UPDATE - I love the album - know all the words to the songs. Got my concert tickets for Dec 19th - his final show of the whole tour - 7th row from the front!! Woohoo!!!

I just bought Keith Urban's New CD Defying Gravity....and it is terrific! Right now there is so much stress in the world and Keith's new CD is joyous, uplifting and just plain fun to listen to. There are plenty of up beat songs perfect for dancing or working out, some beautiful love songs that will melt your heart and of course one signature Keith song especially written for his wife Nicole. This CD will make country fans happy but really it's so contemporary that I think anyone who appreciates great lyrics, good melodies and killer guitar playing will appreciate it. Amazon has a great price on it...so what do you have to lose!!!
