"Golden Road" is one of the BEST CD's of the year, and keith urban's BEST! When you listen to this CD, you basically hear music from the heart and soul.Songs such as, "You'll Think Of Me" ,"You're Not My God", and "Song For Dad" are 3 songs that touch a nerve lyrically,and emotionally.
This CD also has alot of "Very Good Music".keith plays most all the instruments himself,it showcases what GREAT talent he is,not only as a Songwriter,but Musician,and Singer! It also includes the #1 smash hit,"Somebody Like You",and another future smash,"Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me".Some fun songs,"You Look Good In My Shirt" and a remake from the 70's "Jeans On".
"Raining on Sunday" his current song from the CD is sure to be a #1 as well.It's very possible there will be half a dozen Number One's from this CD! In my opinion, this is keith urban at his finest!!! A must for any CD collection!

What is there not to like about Keith Urban's second solo album? The #1 song 'Somebody Like You' with it catchy upbeat tempo, it's no wonder it went to #1. Then 'Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me'. If you've ever been to a live Keith Urban show, just hearing this song again, will bring back wonderful memories. ''Whenever I Run' keeps the action going. Every song on this album will keep your foot stomping and singing along. 'You'll Think Of Me' is a song that we've all felt with a relationship gone wrong, I'm hurt and I'll make it, but that person will think of me sometime, somewhere. I could go on and on, but you will love every song on this album. Keith is the master of the guitar and each song shows this and his writing is right on target. Well Golden Road,what more can I say except this CD has paved Keith Urban a golden road. He not only is one of many very talented new artist's but he has overcame many optsticals to get where he obviously belongs.Every song on this CD is so great words can't describe you just have to go buy it to see for yourself. First "Somebody Like You" has spent 8 weeks at #1 and "Raining On Sunday" will probably follow.I listen to this cd everyday and have found every song has something to either make you laugh or cry or even think. Oh yeah he also added a hidden track called "One Cord SOng" at the end of the last song called "You're Not My God".This song talks really of overcoming drug addiction.But Keith Urban is so spiritual that it could have many meanings according to the person. So I have rated this CD 5 stars because it ROCKS EVEN THOUGH IT IS COUNTRY!!!!!Free Music Review: Golden Road...Golden Album

I would have to say that this is a brillant album. I was blown away with the release of Keiths earlier album "The Ranch", but I have to say this album is superb. There isnt one track on the album that I dont like. His guitar playing skills are something I havent heard in a long time. I just love his version of the David Dundas 70's classic "Jeans On". He has given it a brand new sound and its great. My favourite track though on the album would have to be "You're Not My God". The reason being, I like the fact that it is a real song based on a situation that Keith experienced. He was able to put it into words and convey to his fans the pain and turmoil he experienced. Keith, you have outdone yourself with this album...I love it. A very easy listening, toe tapping must have for all serious Urban fans.Free Music Review: Good For The Soul

Keiths Golden Road CD is one of the Best i have heard in along time..Every song on this CD comes straight from his heart..The experiences he went thru, he let alot of personal thoughts out in these songs and i believe it was a good healing process for him and at the same time reaches out to other people who might be going thru the same situations..I have heard alot of people say if it weren't for Somebody Like You or Your Not My God or You'll Think Of me, whataever they say if it weren't for those certain songs they could have not made it thru the day...So i believe not only is the CD outstanding but I believe it has helped alot of people along the way and thats why i say this CD is Good For The Soul...Keith its one of your Best and I love it...Keith is a great singer/songwriter of our time today and he can only get better...
