I asked a friend before buying this CD "is it worth it?" I was thinking, this was made in the late 80s - early 90s, certainly it can't sound very good, can it? YES. YES IT CAN! This CD is FANTASTIC. I'm so glad I ordered it. It has a rockier sound to it. The CD is definitely a must-have for all Keith fans today. The songs aren't like what you get today. My favorite tracks are definitely Only You, Lovin on the Side, and I Never Work on a Sunday. If you are a casual country fan or a serious fan, this CD needs to be in everyone's collection. (and the LYRICS COME WITH IT!)Free Music Review: At age 24, it is clear KU was going to be a star.

For all KU fans, this album is a must have. Even at age 24, you can hear that "international star" quality in his voice. The production elements are less polished, but his abilities...both vocally and instrumentally...are clearly evident. It took awhile to receive the album since it is an "import"...certainlly not received as quickly as most Amazon orders...but DEFINITELY worth the short wait. Several of the songs are real "keepers," and if he would update and reissue them, they would be more #1 hits to add to his growing list.Free Music Review: We're lucky to get our chance at buying this one!

We are lucky that this cd was re-released. Those of us who didn't know of keith urban or his music until 1997 or later will love having this cd because we really get to hear him when he was first making it big in his homeland. There is a good variety of songs and the melodies and lyrics are truly great. You get all of his talents in this cd, as he provides more than just guitar and vocals on most of the songs. He's an amazing talent... a TOTAL talent.. writer, player, singer... Any keith urban fan will NOT regret buying this album!Free Music Review: great cd. He sounds great

You can surely tell this cd is of when he was younger. His voice sounds it. The songs are great and kinda have a soft rock feel to some of them. There are also honky tonk sounding songs on it. This is a must have for any Keith Fan. I like Only You,Lying in the arms of Mary(not religious) and many other great songs.PLEASE listen to it more than just once. The young sound to his voice could throw you off a bit because it has a young sound to it but it is in fact a great cd. HIS VOICE..it sounds so nice and clear

I absolutely love this CD. You can tell his voice is younger, but you know immediately that it is Keith Urban. I wish they would re-release these songs. The song "Without You" would fit right onto the "Be Here" CD with its sound. The more you listen to this CD the more you like it! After owning Keith's other four CD's, you can definately hear his classic sound on this one. If you are a big Keith Urban fan, I highly recommend this one! You can certainly tell he was destined for bigger things to come!
