Free Music Notes for Love, Pain & The Whole Crazy ThingFree Music Review: Keith Urban: Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing Hit: 5 Stars
Keith is different from most of the other country singers and tends more toward country orck, in my mind. He still tells his stories and life experiences through his music, or so it seems. I've followed Keith Urban since he first started singing and this album has a more "mature" sound and direction in which he seems to want to go...he found his purpose, at least it seems that way from the lyrics in the songs. I usually buy anything that Keith Urban records, but am particularly glad that I got this CD. It's thought provoking and yet entertaining.
Free Music Review: He did it again!! Hit: 5 Stars
I wasn't sure Keith could top his last album...but he did it again! It is a great mixture of his down-home style added to his high energy guitar. I especially liked the third song, "I Told You So".
I also enjoyed the remake of "I Can't Stop Loving You" (recorded a few years back by Phil Collins). Although it is a remake, Keith puts his magical touch on this song--I'm sure it will be one of his future singles.
This CD will definately keep Keith moving up the super-stardom ladder! I am looking forward to his 2007 Tour!
Free Music Review: Then new mature rough and sexy kind of Country Hit: 5 Stars
This here is a VERY talented man! He has covered so many areas with this album. From the slow relaxing laid back kinda music, some toe tappin dance tunes and and a little Rock with with roll of dice. But I think if I had to pick a fovorite on this album, it would have to be Stupid Boy. Finally someone who sings about taking responsibility for his own mistakes, rather than sittin back blaming the one his heart hurts for. I am glad his wife didn't talk him COMPLETELY out of leaving the Country music field. He is a good compliment to the genre.
Free Music Review: If this is New Country, I'm a New Country Fan! Hit: 5 Stars
I heard of Keith Urban through his connection with Richard Marx, they have written together and Keith sings & plays on Richard's last CD. I'm a Pop, California Rock, Melodic AOR kind of guy. Keith's real strength is that he's a Guitar God! Besides that he's a good writer and singer. This CD defies the category of Country. Anybody who likes melodic rock, country rock, pop rock, whatever..will LOVE this album. I thought Richard Marx's "My Own Best Enemy" was great with Keith, this album is three times better! Buy It !!
Free Music Review: Thank you Keith Urban and Company! Hit: 5 Stars
I heard that the expectations were really high for this new CD, and I think that they didn't only mean from the consumer end. I think Keith Urban had high expectations, too. Rest easy, Keith; YOU DID IT! Keith Urban's music definitely opened me up to the new world of country music and if it hadn't been for his music, I wouldn't be listening to country music now. I have enjoyed this CD, and I know it will do well, because the word is out on Keith, and it's spreading far and wide, on what I have felt for a long time.
