Free Music Review: Back to the Top She Goes
Hit: 5 Stars

I'll be honest, the first time I listened to the whole cd I said, "ummm, what was that?!" I actually set the cd aside and went back to it about 3 hours later and listened to the whole thing again. This is a VERY GOOD cd. There is a different sound to some of these songs, for example, "I'm Ready" reminds me of something from the past and I can visualize the video of her walking and dancing in a '50's downtown setting. It took a few listens to like this song but I do. This cd is more "pop-ish" BUT she certainly continues with the "rocker-chick" side of her with songs like,"My Life Would Suck Without You", "I Do Not Hook Up", "Long Shot", and the title track, "All I Ever Wanted". There's no doubt Kelly Clarkson will have at least 5 radio hits off this album with the potential for more than that. I believe she will continue her reign as the most successful Idol Alum with the release of this album. If you like Kelly Clarkson you need to buy this cd. It really is worth the $13 I spent.

Free Music Review: Good thing you can't wear out an album on an iTouch
Hit: 5 Stars

I became a Kelly Clarkson fan after Breakaway but was disappointed with My December. This album....rocks! Sometimes with a lot of variety of songs on a CD you get some songs you don't like. This album has a ton of different sounding songs and they are allllll very VERY good. Great job with this album Kelly! I can listen to it over and over and bc of the variety of songs I never get tired of it. On most CDs you find yourself skipping a couple of songs saying...ehhhh that song is ok. Not with this one. I can't see anyone being disappointed with this CD. I really like If I Can't Have You and All I Ever Wanted. It's hard to pick out a couple of songs tho bc the whole thing is great! Did I say that already?

I don't have a lot of time to be writing reviews. In fact this is the only review I've ever written for an album so that should say something.

And just so you know you can download it from Amazon. The link isn't here. You have to go to the Amazon MP3 store.

Free Music Review: This is a strong effort from Kelly Clarkson
Hit: 5 Stars

I like this new CD from Kelly. My favorite tracks "My Life Would Suck Without You" and Don't Let Me Stop You". They are very upbeat tracks. The title track has a great beat, and it is another highlight on here. This song is very radio friendly. "If No One Will Listen" is beautiful heartfelt song. The piano playing is lovely here. "Cry" is a good break up song. Kelly has the ability to hit the high notes on this track. This is a better song than more subtle tone "Already Gone". "I Do Not Hook Up" is a relationship song that makes me feel good. I love the violin playing on the track "Save You". This song is really pretty. Kelly picks up the pace with "Why You Always Wanna Bring Me Down". This is a great rock song. The guitar playing rocks on this track. "I Want You" is a happy song. It has a pleasant tone with simple lyrics. "Impossible" has a very positive message that nothing is impossible in life. I like this song and disc very much.

Free Music Review: Hellz Yeah, Kelly!
Hit: 5 Stars

She had me at "My Life Would Suck Without You". How can you not absolutely lose yourself in pure pop/rock giddiness when Kelly's voice soars over a track like that?

The rest of the CD is just as good, with plenty of catchy hooks and the conflicting messages that Kelly, P!nk, etc have perfected in the last 5-6 years. There are even some great moments reminiscent of some of the great 80's/90's sounds of groups like Roxette (Already Gone), feel good buddy songs (If No One Will Listen) and even some 60's pop-funk (I Want You).

Kelly's voice is just one of those instruments that blends beautifully with a pop/rock music background, and the fact that she's back to having fun on this VERY pop album is awesome. I don't mind her "darker" stuff a la My December, but as someone who loved Breakaway, this album felt good from the very first listen and will continue to for some time to come!

Free Music Review: Good, and addictive!
Hit: 5 Stars

While this album isn't fantastic it's really fun to listen to! I'm addicted to it. This obviously isn't Kelly's best work, but I think she might have been a little scared to go all out because of how much of herself she put into My December and people didn't respond. My December is still her best album to date for quality and vocal talent but All I Ever Wanted gives a wide array of different song choices. From slower songs like If No One Would Listen and Impossible. Then to faster and really good songs like Long Shot (Which is so addictive you'll never stop listening to it) and the title track All I Ever Wanted. Most of the songs are good to a certain extent. It's worth buying if you like pop you can turn up to blow your speakers up! But don't expect any fantastically outstanding vocals because you won't find them here. Try My December for that!
