I absolutely love Kelly Clarkson. I've been a fan of hers since her first performance on AI, and she can do no wrong in my eyes. This album is able to showcase both her radio and creative appeal, and in doing so will hopefully silence the critics who doomed her My December album.
I've loved every album of Kelly's, but All I Ever Wanted is the perfect balance. Each song has a different sound, yet the album is cohesive. My quick favorites were Cry, Already Gone, Ready, I Want You, and Save You. That being said, there is not a single song I would skip on this album playing it through.
Kelly Clarkson is the most talented vocalist on pop radio right now (and in my eyes on ALL radio right now), and I can't wait to see where her career goes in the future. Texas is proud of you, Kelly! Keep it up, girl!

This album is absolutely amazing. I love it all. I even bought the deluxe edition to have the bonus tracks. I think Kelly is a wonderful singer and I love the guitar riffs in this album. I truly think this is where Kelly should stay, on the pop rock side. I didn't really care for her first album, the second was really good as well as My December. My December by the way is like my favorite album by her. My favorite songs on this album are My life would suck without you, I do not hook up, All I ever wanted, Already Gone, Whyyawannabringmedown, Long Shot, and Impossible. I actually do like the song Cry, but in a way it was almost like a country song and I don't like country at all. Kelly this is the path you should have taken from day one, keep up the good work, and stay on this path. THis is where you really shine.Free Music Review: "Is it over yet? Can I open my eyes..."

All I Ever Wanted by our orginial American Idol Kelly Clarkson (and still the best I must say) is back with her 4th studio album and boy it rocks! I love Breakway and My December, her first album Thankful is good but didn't show her complete range as an artist, All I Ever Wanted is catchy, deep, and deliciously addictive. Kelly's chops are like no other, this gal can sang!!! The title-track is my absolute favorite, the way she belts that chorus is heaven to my ears. Already Gone, Cry, Save You, Impossible, and If No One Will Listen display Kelly's softer side. I love Kelly's attitude, she just gets music and you can feel her passion with every song. Long Shot has been stuck in my head for days and I Want You is pure fun. I HIGHLY recommend this gem of an album! Kelly just seems to get better and better at variety. With this release we get yet another completely different feeling album compared to the previous three. Thankful was a nice Idol offering, lacking in a lot of areas. Breakaway was an intense pop rock album that everyone loved. My December saw an edgier, scathed Kelly (and it happens! Especially when you're a songwriter!), and now we have a throwback album filled with various sounds. Great album and great song choosing on Kelly's part!
To the review that stated a note about Kelly's "country album," Kelly herself said she wanted to a "dirty country blues rock kinda thing". Check out the interview from 2007 for Good Morning America on YouTube, due to a deal she made to release My December, this is the compromise album. Maybe next time!

This is my 2nd Kelly Clarkson CD and this one is by far, some of her best work yet. I've been a fan since she won IDOL and she has grown into a pop culture favorite because of it. But it is Kelly's INCREDIBLE voice that has kept fans wanting more. This CD delivers just that. I just recived the deluxe edition last week and I can't stop playing it. EVERY song is good and there are at least SEVERAL that could easily be #1 songs, if not Top 10's on the Billboard Charts! The songs are catchy and like other reviewers have said, they stick in your head. It's songs like that that become huge hits. I can easily imagine that this CD will not only go platinum many times over, but that it will also become a Grammy winner as well. This is definitely Kelly Clarkson's year and she has certainly earned it!
