I have not heard a more beautiful voice since Sarah McLachlan and Dido. She has a breathy, soaring quality that makes you feel weak. It hits you in your heart. Just listen to "We are one," or "Ready for love." Why this cd is not selling like hotcakes, I do not know. She should already be a superstar. She has ten times the talent of Norah Jones or the other monotone, boring artists who seem to sell well. Kelly, I am a fan and will be from this day forward. I heard the song raincoat on the radio and instantly fell in love with the song. When I found out the artist's name I went to Amazon to check out the price and reviews and discovered that the album had received rave reviews! I bought the CD and definitely agree with all the terrific reviews. It is a wonderful CD with every song very enjoyable. I stumbled upon Kelly from her Myspace page and instantly fell in love with her rendition of Aerosmith's "Dream On." After hearing that song along with "Raincoat" and the title track, it was evident that this new singer will be with us for a long time to come.
Smooth and easy on the ears, melodic and an angelic voice that moves and inspires.
Definitely a talented artist and I look forward to seeing this artist at the Grammys next year.

Kelly Sweet came to me as a totally unexpected promo gift a while back from an Amazon supplier I had ordered another CD from. I was and am deeply touched by this fresh and unadulterated voice. New songs!!! Yea!! And other songs newly sung. I treasure this CD. This is so NOT pop music. I hope she will climb and soar and touch many lives who seek something more than sticky sweet. What a treat this CD is. The first time I heard her song "Raincoat" on the radio, I was intrigued with her voice - young, smokey, jazzy yet modern. I love every song on her CD. She has her own style with all of the songs - they are simply incredible. My friends/family all love my CD and have gotten their own CDs - she is simply the best new singer we have heard in a long, long time.
