Free Music Review: Not bad, but could have been better

Overall the depth on this album is very good. The songs on this release have 10 times the substance of previous albums such as "When The Sun Goes Down" and "Me and You." The big problem with this album it is incredibly one dimensional. The album is incredibly ballad heavy. Kenny is at his best when he is cutting loose and having fun, then turning around and grabbing your attention with a heart tugger (ie "No Shoes, No Shirts, No Problems" and "The Road and the Radio"). You do see classic Kenny fun on my personal favorite on this record "Got A Little Crazy" and few can argue with the power of "Don't Blink." If you are a Chesney fan like I am you will find the album pretty enjoyable, but if you are looking for one of his top efforts I feel he came up just a little short.
