I'm of the opinion that there is not a better voice or performer in country music today than Kenny Chesney. I'm amazed at how he can continue to crank out collections that always top his previous efforts. Poets and Pirates certainly reveals more about the challenges and choices that this superstar continues to battle with finding a balance in his personal life. This CD is quite different in many ways and intially I thought it was going to be too melancholy. It's not. Tracks such as Scare Me, Better as a Memory, Blink and Wife & Kids are unbelievable songs that are sure to rocket on the charts. This immensely talented guy continues to be....all that, and more.Free Music Review: Please, don't stop Kenny

I was a little shocked how much I liked this CD, some of Kenny's music is, well like he can't get over college. On Poets & Pirates, some of the songs were so deep, almost bringing you to tears and others like "Scare me", you wished he was singing it to you. This CD has a good balance of dancin' and kickin back, this is a great addition to my collection. Well Kenny has certainly done it again!!! He just gets better and better. All the tracks are awesome, not just the ones you know, can't stop playing it. Don't listen to the people giving under 4* reviews, as these people would probably find fault with a 5* hotel!!! Some people are just hard to please, so just go out and buy this great Kenny CD. Kenny Chesney is by far one of my favorite music authors! I love most of his albums, including this one! My favorite songs of this album are: Never Wanted Nothing More, Wife and Kids, and Dancin' for the Groceries. I listened to these songs over and over and I never got tired one bit! As usual, Kenny is right on with this CD. I absolutely love "Don't Blink"...it really emphasizes that life is so short and that we should live each and every day as though that day was our last! I love the other songs too, but this song is definitely my favorite!!! Perhaps I'll sing it beside him one day in the not-too-distant future.
