Free Music Notes for No Shoes No Shirt No Problems (Bonus Track) AlbumFree Music Review: No shoes, no shirt, not many problems.. Hit: 4 StarsBeing a reasonably big fan of Kenny Chesney (and a huge fan of his friend, and guest artist, Tim McGraw), I anticipated this CD and bought it the day it came out. Overall, it's what one would expect from Kenny. There's nothing too adventurous or risk-taking, but it's enjoyable to listen to. I enjoy the song "Young," his big first single (if only high school were really like that). It's definitely a highlight of the CD. Some other songs I like: "I Remember," "The Good Stuff," "Never Gonna Feel That Way Again," the title track, and, my personal favorite, "I Can't Go There." His remake of "One Step Up" is also very good. This CD actually reminds me a great deal of Kenny's Great Hits. It's fun to listen to, and has some memorable tracks (and some not-so memorable ones). I listened to the preview on the radio the night before it came out (where they played tracks from the CD and Kenny talked about them), and one thing that Kenny kept saying was that so many people could relate to all of these songs. And, although it got a little old very fast, I can see where he was coming from. There are a lot of relatable songs on this CD. This CD is worth buying if you're a fan of Kenny. There are no real let-downs, and the pictures inside, even though there aren't many and they're all on his webpage, almost make it worth it. The other thing that makes it worth it? The 15 seconds we get to hear of Tim McGraw on the final track, "I Can't Go There" (which sounds more like a song Chely Wright should be singing, not Kenny Chesney). While Tim's part in this song is more "Bring on the Rain" than "Let's Make Love," he does get a few seconds towards the end to belt it out, and anyone who's even heard Tim McGraw once or twice could recognize his voice. I don't really get why Kenny and Tim chose this song for a "duet," but we'll save that question for another time.. Overall, this is a fun, enjoyable CD. I would hightly reccomend it to anyone who is considering buying it (I only gave it 4 stars because I don't think it's as good as "Set This Circus Down" or other CDs like that.. not because there are any serious flaws).
