I dont know what some of these reviewers are talking about. I am very sensitive when something is re-recorded and not like the original. I can't tell the difference. This is the best of Kenny Rogers. The sound quality is phenomenal. I think some folks pick on things just to pick on them. There's no case here.
The only thing negative would be that there could be some songs off of his "Back Home Again" album. Despite this, this is a great sounding collection. I especially liked the new songs. The one with Whitney Duncan :"My World Is Over" is probably my favorite. Kenny Rogers has shown once again how he can stay current and even involve newer younger artists. Definitely recommend this one!!!!!!

This is a great collection with all of Kenny's hits in one nice package. The boxed set is great too, but you have lots of album cuts mixed in there. This is great if you just want the hits. Pretty much every song of Kenny's you could want is here. Kicking off with five tracks from his days with the First Edition then it goes into the slew of hits he had in the 70's. The duets are here, the recent hits are here. A great collection. Only one flaw, "Daytime Friends" is credited as a duet with Dottie West, it isn't, it never was. A typo so if you thought you were getting something rare, you're not. Other than that, a great collection!Free Music Review: THIS ALBUM ROCKS!

I have never liked country music and I never will with one exception and 2 words. KENNY ROGERS! Why? Because Kenny Rogers rocks!
I don't even know how you can consider Kenny Rogers as country. The Eagles are twice as twangy and country sounding as Kenny is while being considered rock. It is a crime to have your music labeled as country when you really are not. Almost all his albums were good and I have always been a fan.
While Kenny Rogers Botox injections and face lifts may not last his music will live forever!

This CD is a must for any Kenny Rogers fans. From his First Edition songs to the new releases, Kenny's voice sounds spectacular. Who else could have number one hits in five decades?There are a lot of Kenny Rogers' greatest hits collections and, while this isn't the most comprehensive, it's at the top of the list. Most importantly, it's the only place you can hear his great new song, "My World is Over" with Whitney Duncan. It's a terrific song.

Since seeing Kenny in Concert in Nottingham England in 2006 - I have been searching for an album that contained 1 song, that he sang at the concert. I had never heard the song before but apparently it was an old one, so I searched the shops and the net and found it on this album. The song is The Rose, which is on repeat on the stereo...
The whole album is fantastic and has been constantly played.
