I am old enough to remember sitting in the pool hall listening to Kenny on the juke box and sitting in the mustang and listening to him on 8-track. He has only gotten better through the years. He has a message that he wants to deliver to those who aged with him and those new comers just coming on the scene. Life is getting better, age has not limits. His voice and style of singing, brings each song/story to a vivid image in your mind. Just like Dolly, Kenny will continue to be a fixture in the country music world. This album brings a lot of emotions to the fore front. Things that have happen to get him to where he is now. This CD is well worth the investment. It is also an wonderful gift to give to a baby boomer.Free Music Review: Simply Amazing

I have to say that this is truly an amazing album. He really has made an incredible album here folks. I bought it on a lark, just figuring I was worn out on the Twenty Greatest Hits album. I don't know if it's who he picked to produce it or what, but it's top of the line here. He sounds amazing, and if he keeps it up it will be one of the best "comebacks" in a long time. The songs are written with heart and soul and have a kind of hair raising feel to them as you listen. "Someone is Me" is just great. I hope it hits for him....and for everyone else as well. I wish I could put this review out for all to hear it, because it's worth the $10 or $12 bucks, trust me.

I got free tickets to a Kenny Rogers concert and forgotten how good he is. His voice sounds the same today as it did forty years ago. He sang some songs from his new album, and they sounded great. I went out and bought the album the next day.
Kenny Rogers has the ability to pick songs with lyrics that matter and does a great job of intrepreting them. The album is well worth the money and unlike a lot of albums I've bought recently, I would buy it again and recommend it wholeheartedly

I think this CD is awesome. Kenny has never sounded better. Listening to the CD stakes you through so many emotions. The title track is "Water and Bridges". The song has such a contempory sound and I love the guitar throughout. Don Henly and Vince Gill are guests on a couple songs. "Half a Man" truly shows Kenny vocal strenght. The song is one of my favorites. I recommend this CD, it is the Best in years..

I've been a Kenny Rogers fan since his First Edition days. Over the years, some of his work has been good, but not great. But this project FAR surpasses anything he has done in many years. It is definitely not a "has been artist" singing "has been music". It is real and fresh! Every song is a WOW! His collaboration with Don Henley, "Calling Me" is nothing short of brilliant. Way to go, Kenny!
