Love it! I laugh, I cried and it gave me chills. Its not often I actually like more than 1 or 2 songs on a whole CD. Kenny is truely a story teller that can take you threw a whole relm of emotions.Would highly recommend.Free Music Review: Kenny's not just "back" -- he is BETTER THAN EVER!

I grew up listening to Kenny Rogers, saw him in concert, and loved him for years! Then, I grew up, and got tired of his trademark raspiness, and just thought all his songs sounded the same. He lost me at, "Love, or something like it." But I heard "I can't unlove you" on a morning show, and immediately ordered the CD! I wondered about there only being 11 songs -- but believe me, each and every song is magnificent!! He sings it so true and pure -- only the slightest touch of the "Kenny Roger's" sound. I have played it over the phone for all my friends -- and now have ordered ten of them for gifts, although most of my friends have already bought it, based on my recommendation. We ALL love it!! Usually, on an album (even when there are 20 songs), there are only just a FEW that you listen to over and over again. On this album, I just can't decide which is my favorite song!! I highly recommend it -- and if you EVER told me that I would be writing my FIRST Amazon review, for Kenny Rogers, I would have laughed in your face. On today's local morning show, they were talking about his facelift, which I didn't even notice. I just thought he had changed his hair and lost weight. But on the picture, on the back of the case, his mouth DOES seem to be about 2" wider. Even if he IS trying to come back, and acting young, I don't care. It worked!!! He got me back!!! How amazing that, in my lifetime, he has had chart hits in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and now this one. That must be SOME kind of a record!!! I actually can't WAIT to take a road trip, so that I can just keep playing this CD over and over again!!Free Music Review: Debbie

One needs a box of tissues the first time this album is listened to. Anyone who is a baby boomer coming of age, will relate to most of these songs & it will stir emotions thought to have been put away a long time ago.

Kenny has done it all here.Usually you are lucky to get two hits on an album. This album cantains 4 at least maybe 6.From the first song "Bridges and Water To Half the Man .This ablum makes you appreciated life.Kenny is a great story teller.Makes you feel Free and proud. The cd is fantanstic, I ordered it as a gift, but as usual lately the cd case is shattered, I tryed several ways to let amazon understand this but no way to send a complaint, one way I tried was thru a return item and it said it had to be under 200 words, well I made it very short but message always came back,,I finally got it down to 30 words and..... too long..they have some kinda gorillas working there I believe and really don't care.,. I buy on line for convenence, but I believe this will end if amazon donsen't care about handling. The outside of the package's I mention were very clean and no marks to endicate inside damage's.....the paper work had been jammed in by the case, with the EXTREME high price of cd's these days there is no excuse for this.
