Free Music Review: if you love the blues, get this.
Hit: 5 Stars

Amazing 2 disc set, of Kenny Wayne exploring the history of the Blues. The music cd is great, and the DVD is even better. If you love the blues, don't even think about it, just get it.

Free Music Review: Worth every penny
Hit: 5 Stars

This is one of those albums you are always searching for - one you want to play often both loud and not so loud. It ticks all the boxes - great artists, good raunchy bluesy songs, + a dvd. Glad I have it.

Free Music Review: 10 Days Out (Blues from the Backroads), my review from Barcelona
Hit: 5 Stars

A great record of this thirty year old musician, which besides singing very well plays the guitar wonderfully although in this album Shepherd doesn't sing. Shepherd began playing guitar at five and at thirteen made his debut in a live concert with the singer and guitarist Bryan Lee (his reunion is recorded: "Bryan Lee - Live At The Old Absinthe House Bar....Saturday Night", and makes a very good record).
"10 Days Out" this sensational live album contains great themes as by instance "Little Red Rooster" one of the better classical and outstanding Blues song ever composed by maecenas of Blues, Willie Dixon, that by the way The sensational Rolling Stones made an extraordinary cover in the first 60's, in addition to assembling a quantity of top musicians like Cootie Stark and Neal "Big Daddy" Pattman, Jerry "Boogie" McCain, B.B.King, Bryan Lee, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown (one of the better of all the times a true number one), Henry Townsend, Etta Baker, Henry Gray, Hubert Sumlin ( the permanent guitarist of another monster, HOWLIN WOLF), "Wild Child" Butler, Pinetop Perkins (one of the better Blues pianist alive and one of the better of all the times). It is perhaps the best of his discography and for sure the one with the purest Blues contents.
Highly recommended. I give it 5 stars.

Free Music Review: In my opinion...
Hit: 4 Stars

...it was a pretty good DVD. The thing that I wasn't really satisfied with was that the clips of KWS and the guests playing the songs weren't full clips of the entire songs. I wanted to see the playing of the entire songs, but besides that, the CD and the music were great!

Free Music Review: Absolutely fantastic
Hit: 5 Stars

10 days out is excellent with several different old blues artists on the cd. The dvd is a great bonus to see these artists perform. Kenny Wayne Shepard is the best I have seen since his mentor, Stevie Ray Vaughn. Highly recommended for the blues fans.
