Not only can Kevin Spacey sing but he can sing alongside Sinatra, Martin, Bennett and Darin. His rendition of "Once Upon a Time" is breathtakingly beautiful. "Lazy River" has dialogue cuts from the movie but when Kevin interjects, you wish he'd sung "Lazy River" in its entirety because he teases you with how great he does it. Fabulous CD and a must have for anyone who just enjoys hearing a magnificent singing voice.Free Music Review: Spacey channels Darin

I came to this CD as a Kevin Spacey fan. He is so good, he might just put Darin's name back on the charts. Excellent choice in songs. Simple Song of Freedom is a war protest song that fits the present as much as the past. For the younger crowd, it is a great intro to Darin, and for the rest of us, a blast from the past, courtesy the multi talented Mr. Spacey. kinder2003Free Music Review: This is great !

I have always liked Kevin Spacey. He is a good actor, and turns out he is also a good singer. He sounds totally professional-- his voice is strong and sure-- each note sounds just right. He sounds like Bobby Darin, but just on his own, and in his own right, he is terrific. Actually, I hope he doesn't stop with this CD-- he could make a new career as a singer. I thought the movie was incredible and Kevin Spacey deserved much more credit than he has received. He sounds so much like Bobby Darin that when I play both versions of "Mack the Knife" back to back the only difference is in the instrumentation. On Kevin's version it is far superior and a much better listening experience.
