Free Music Review: They're back and better than ever!
Hit: 5 Stars

This by far is one of King's X best discs.
Musically and lyrically, this is as strong a release they've put out in some time.
It comes out rocking with the first track, "Pray" and just rolls on from there.
Other great tracks are "Go Tell Somebody", "Alright" and "Love and Rockets".
Always present is, of course, their great playing.
Ty Tabor on guitar, one of rock's most underated guitarists, Dug Pinnick on bass and drummer Jerry Gaskill, musically put out one of rock's tightest sounds.
If your an old fan or new, check out the new disc from one of rock's best kept secrets.

Free Music Review: Simply the Best Work by King's X
Hit: 5 Stars

I have been a rather big fan of King's X for nearly 15 years. It is very rare that I will have a CD in my changer for more that a week at a time, but XV has not only been in my changer for a month, I have listened to it every day -- I honestly love this CD and it is still growing on me. Once in maybe 5-8 years will a CD come along where I like every single song; XV is one of those very rare CDs. Now what is amazing here is XV contains 14 songs (with 'Alright' being my favorite). Pure and simple it is the very best work from maybe the most talented but overlooked band in the U.S.

Free Music Review: King's X keeps rockin'
Hit: 5 Stars

This album is jam packed with solid tunes from a fantastic band. If you like King's X you won't be disappointed. If your not familiar with King's X pick up this album and jump on board. I would always recommend seeing them live, then you can witness Dug playing a lead bass riff that is counter to the lead vocal he is singing and all three band members singing the chorus on track #1 Pray, this was quite an amazing thing to witness. check out [...] for tour dates.

King's X will never get the recognition they deserve, but you can help by picking up this CD.

Free Music Review: After all these years, XV might be the best album!
Hit: 5 Stars

I'm an old King's X fan, and it's hard to say anything beats Gretchen and Silent Planet, but these guys get better with age, and XV is just plain fantanstic. Heavy and aggressive, as usual. I've described King's X as "heavy metal met the Beatles". This is a band whose albums gets better each listen. You know those albums you love the first listen, and can't listen to after the fourth play? Well, that's not King's X. By the fourth listen, you're just getting into the depth of their songs. Awesome power trio. If you can catch'em live, you won't be disappointed.

Free Music Review: another great album.
Hit: 5 Stars

I've never been a fan of the term 'this album grows on you',but i'm pleased to say this one did, unlike every other King's X album i've bought(manic moonlight apart maybe) that i've loved from first listen, this one did'nt hit me staight away.
it took me a few listens to get into it(sending the wife out for a couple of hours so i could turn it up helped) and whats happenened?.
i cant take it out of my cd player its that good!
I loved 'ogre tones', a return to form from this great band.
This is better, buy with confidence!.
