This is either top right after Dogman or equal to it. It is so heavy but done tastefully... I used to give people Bulbous to listen to to get into the band but now I give them this album... it can do no wrong. The 12 string bass thunders through songs like Pray and the bluesy "No Lie" reminds me of the boys just jamming. This album has something for everyone... unless you really like Jerry. Briefly, I just want to say that this is the best Kings X so far. They just keep getting better. I had to listen to it a second time to absorb it fully, but once I did I was addicted. These tracks are great and the songs seem to flow from one to the next quite beautifully. Great lyrics, great playing and great grooves. Equally as good as Ogre Tones. These guys are headed in the right direction and are a joy to experience.Free Music Review: XV

For all the times people said "Their best record since Dogman" and it turned out to be false - this album it's actually the truth. Full of life and energy and well produced...this thing is catchy and infectious. I am pleased. Standouts are "Blue" "Julie" and "Alright".
The only things bugging me are the uninspired song titles and the fact that they don't have 14 studio albums before this one.

I was a late bloomer as a King's X fan but I really appreciate what they do, musically. XV is a great new release and it contains all of the elements that make me a King's X fan. The track listing is ordered perfectly as to break up some of the longer songs with a few shorter numbers. XV is one of my favorite new releases this year and hopefully more King's X fans will come out and buy it up.Free Music Review: kings x at there best

I have every kings x album and this is there best effort since ear candy,this cd totally rocks.Iknow not every one agress with me ,but this cds rocks and is well written,i think they only bad effort was wellcome to nebraska.From pray ,to julie,and rocket ship this album gets better and i didnt think there was a bad song on it.I only whish i could see them live.Buy this cd and enyoy
