I've never had an album that I liked every song, alot! These guys have captured a unique sound I've never heard, and they deserve all the rewards coming their way. The people critical of this seem to have lost any sense of love and romance, of loving and hurting, love lost and love gained, and all the fighting in between. They captured me, look forward to what they come up next. Didn't care much for their earlier work, but they've got it now!Free Music Review: Kings of Leon Rock!

Wow. This is one of the best cd's I have bought in a while. I was hoping to like more than USE SOMEBODY and SEX ON FIRE. I love the whole cd.I am one of those people that if I like just one song I buy the cd, I do listen to them all of the way thru, sometimes you find other songs you like sometimes you don't. Did not have to worry about that with Kings of Leon, The whole record is awesome! Ready for more!Free Music Review: Kings still rock!

As usual the Kings have created an entirely new sound! An amazing CD!A lot of energy and filled with great ballads as well as rocking songs. I wish they would've made "Frontier City" and "Beneath The Surface" actual songs ON the album, it would've been sweet. But what they put on the album was still amazing! Kings of Leon Only by the Night is a rich and intense album displaying the full throaty qualiteies of the lead singer and the excellent acoustics of the fellow band members. I was drawn irrestibly in by Sex on Fire and Use Somebody convinced me that this band was worth a second look. Their lyrics are inspiring, soulful, heated and full of a vibrancy that radiates throughout the entire album.Free Music Review: Five Microphones !!!!!

I'm no KOL expert, but I enjoy all kinds of music. Leaning to the rock side of sound. Have sampled other KOL on Amazon but this CD knocks my socks off. KOL is 1 band that has relit my musical flame. The voice, the sound, the blend of tracks. Haven't listened to an album (old school) CD over and over since Springsteens "Darkness on the Edge of Town". Do yourself a favor and pick this 1 up !!!
