Free Music Review: Love it, Great Pack, Lots of Thought

Yes, I must Admit I did buy it for the so Called Millennium Concert. I am Happy that they did release some of that concert: anyone with tapes of that concert knows they could quite easily have done two discs of the Millennium concert, since the entire show was fully recorded, so why only one song from Ace, and no solo? Anyway, I am happy for the Bits they gave on disc.
The Alive 1,2 and 3 are great discs, sounding superb in 5.1 systems; much improved. I must admit I did think that Gene ( or Someone, :-) redid the Bass work for the Live 1 and 2, but I guess with a Remaster that fixes all sounds.
Each of the discs reprises the Packaging of the original albums, as well as the disc bed, which has a reprise of the cover shots. The Booklet tops the memorable tour of the KISS past.
It really does bring home that KISS has material that is better than Good. Ace has said that the Reunion tour was DAT recorded. With a great selection of other songs, why can't they release more. Anyways, I more than Love what I got. Its a Great Buy, and I am more than happy with the great sound

KISS have always been known for having high-budgeted live shows, and playing their music loud. They have released multiple albums showing off their live shows. This boxed set has all of the albums that show them live the way they were, instead of doing anything special (such as going unplugged or with an orchestra). The first disc is the original KISS Alive! album, the album that defines KISS. I feel that they do a great job with all of the songs, doing them louder and sometimes longer than the original studio versions. Although the sound isn't as direct into the speakers, like in the studio, that doesn't matter; it still blasts the speakers. The second disc is Alive II, which is similar to Alive! except with different songs, and there's a third side of studio music. The third disc is Alive III, done many years later, when KISS had a new line-up and a new awareness of their legacy. The final disc is a way of going full circle and showing KISS just after they had reunited.
In conclusion, this perfectly represents KISS live, more from more than just one era.

Lo mas seguro es que muchos seguidores de KISS tengan los tres primeros ALIVE y no le vean el sentido a esto, en mi caso particular, tengo los tre Alive!, pero, el precio del box set no es tan elevado, en segundo lugar, el box set esta muy bien hecho, version digipack que se abre con cuatro cds, es decir, los dos primeros Alive vienen en un solo disco cada uno y no en dos como era antes. El Alive III trae Take It Off que estaba solo disponbible en la japonesa, dicho sea de paso, es tremenda cancion.
El Alive IV, el que estaba originalmente esta muy bueno, es interesante escichar canciones como Heavens On Fire y Lick it up por el line up original.
El libro interior esta bueno, muchas fotos que no estaban en los alives anteriores.
Para mi, un cinco estrellas, y eso que no estoy de acuerdo con tanta recopilacion de KISS, pero con esta, totalmente.
Lo que dicen del sticker de los bonus tracks de 2000 man y God Of Thunder, en mi caso, no estaba.

finally all the live albums of Kiss in one package and a lavish one that is. not only for the Kiss fan but for anyone who can appreciate a good rock concert (registration), complete with lot of explosions, with a few unexpected extras included. There is the single live-version of "Rock and Roll All Nite" added to Alive II and on Alive III is "Take it Off" an extra bonustrack. Also is brandnew and otherwise not available the reunionconcrt 1999/2000 with the 4 original members. Comes in that each album has a clear sound is now released on a single disc. Further there is a lovely booklet with many never before seen pictures of the band playing live. So this is a great Christmas 2006 gift for everybody. It brings alive kind memories of seen concerts and proves proudly that apart from the outrageous stageshow the original and later members of the band really could play and write nice songs. I'm from Germany, so please excuse my bad english. First of all, I'm a Fan since early 1979 when Alive II and the Solo Albums were the actual stuff. I like Hardrock and here in the Box Set are the best Examples of KISS included. Obviously I had all the available Live-Albums allready but because of the included Alive 4 Concert it was clear to purchase the Box also! All Concerts are in good quality, the Booklet and the Box is nice!
Hardcore KISS Fans will have it allready, but for new ones here you get a Live Journey with the hottest Ban from 1975 to 2000 for the Best Price!
Only bad point is that the 2 additional Songs from Alive 4 were here not available. But still 5 Stars!
You won't get fooled...let the curtain drop and enjoy....
