i liked it, but i wish it was longer!! the songs are very good, though i'm sure they can't POSSIBLY have all the music from the movie on it... but i did like it and the songs get stuck in your head very easily!! i listened to it once and had to again and again because i liked it so much! the only thing preventing me from giving it a five star is the short length... but it is still a great soundtrack!Free Music Review: Zimmer influence

If you have listened to any of Hans Zimmer's work, this sounds quite like it.
Listen to Barbarian Horde from Gladiator (about the middle of the track on to the end), and then listen to He's a Pirate. Almost identical themes used.
I'm not complaining, as there usually isn't too much of a good thing.
All in all, a decent soundtrack, something you feel like a pirate with and it makes you want to go out and swashbuckle something...

This is great listening music! This is great acting music!! All the members of my family enjoy listening to the soundtrack from the Pirates of The Caribbean: The Curse of The Black Pearl. The children take advantage of the music and reenact their favorite parts of the movie. When you hear this music...there is no doubt that it is from Pirates of the Caribbean!
