Free Music Review: KoRn Take A Look In The Mirror
Hit: 5 Stars

I just bought TALITM and it is better than I thought it'd be.
1. Right now: Really good song, the lyrics are dark and really
well written, that's what I love about KoRn. 5/5
2. Break some off: Another really good song. Not really as dark as I'd
hoped, but still really good. I only gave it 4 because it wasn't that dark
. 4/5
3. Counting on me: Now unlike Break some off, this song IS really dark
because the song sounds like a happy song, but if you listen to the lyrics
it's not, and that's something I've never heard KoRn do. 5/5
4. Here it come again: Another dark heavy song worth listening to.4/5
5. Deep inside: Dark. Heavy. There's nothing better than listening to a
song 'bout going crazy. 5/5
6. Did my time: This is another favourite of mine. Nuff said. 5/5
7 Everything I've known: Great song, you can feel the greatness of the
lyrics and music. 4/5
8. Play me: A surprisingly good song, also one of my favourites-also
surprising. 4/5
9. Alive: really good song and that's about it lol. 5/5
10. Let's do this now: This is a really good song you have to hear.
You can really feel the rage. 5/5
11. I'm done: Same as #10. 5/5
12. Y'all want a single: Excellent song. my favourite song on the cd.
5/5.
13. When will this end: This is a really good angry, dark, heavy song
that kicks ass.
HIDDEN TRACK: One: I personally like KoRn's version of One better
than Mettallica's. 5/5
Overall, great cd. I recommend this to any KoRn or metal fan. Don't
listen to these other ass-clowns that hate KoRn and don't appreciate
GOOD music and band's such as KoRn. Get it, listen to every song
and see for yourself.

Free Music Review: Take a look in the mirror
Hit: 5 Stars

the best korn album ever!! the band does a great job of bringing their original style back to life by adding energy and pace to the songs. korn kinda faded away after their self titled album but this one shows that they can still play their trademark fast-tempo, rageful and at teh same time gloomy music. a lot of people complain that korn doesnt sing about anyhting else other than hate and torture. i dont see what the big deal about a band wanintg to emphasize its music on just a single topic. i do agree that there should be a couple of songs that symbolize something else('Alive' had success with that).hey,if you dont wanna listen to the 'f**k the world',frustration based mentality of korn then this aint your type of music. i thought all the songs were great except Play me. usually rap fans dont like metal and metal fans hate rap; these are two genres that should always be seperated. the top 5 songs were:
1. let's do this now-great combination of rage and mystic+awesome intro
2. right now-a heavy, fast-tempo song which appeals especially after having a bad day
3. did my time-great lyrics, great guitar playing, probably the most "disciplined" korn song ive ever heard
4. y'all want a single-has the best rhythm out of all the songs in the album and gives a slightly comical side to it in addition to the hateful one.
5. alive-great lyrics taht are the most meaningful out of all the songs in the album. it expresses the effort to recover from hardships instead of the typical exploiting of anger. finally something new and experimental from korn.

a must have for heavy metal as well as hard rock fans.

Free Music Review: They did it again
Hit: 5 Stars

Korn never ceases to amaze me with their consistent albums. I know alot of people are going to automatically say this album sucks and what not and go on with their usual little korn bashing tantrums, simply because that's the cool thing to do. I gaurantee though, that if half these people would just give Korn an unbiased chance and actually listen to the albums instead of the overplayed radio hits they would realize just how influencial and important they are to modern hard rock (and yes, metal). Every album Korn has put out is unique and great in it's own way, and this one is no exception. After listening to the underated and over produced melodic sounds of Untouchables this album will sound alot more raw and straight forward. People compare it alot to their first album due mainly to it being the hardest album since. Not many people realize also that the song Alive is a remake of one of their orginal demo songs from their EP Niedermieyers Mind. So that also kind of links it to that time period. But overall the two albums really have a sound totally of their own. There's really not much bad to say about this album other than mabye the vocals sounding alittle strained at times. They recorded this during Ozzfest though and right after which in my opinion wasn't very smart considering they have cancelled shows in the past due to Jonathan over working his vocal chords. But once you get used to it you can easily look past it and enjoy it till the next album. Another complaint is the One cover. The lack of a guitar solo at the end bothers me. Other than that this is a great album I highly recommend to any hard rock fans.

Free Music Review: Good, but not the best...
Hit: 5 Stars

I definitely like this CD. It's so much better than Untouchables, which I never thought was that great, but it in no way beats out the self-titled or Issues. I've waited a long time to hear a non-demo version of Alive (especially after hearing LAPD's "Escuse Me" and Need To). As much as I don't like tbiddy's review, myself still a big KoRn fan, I would agree that Issues is a far better album, minus the interludes. I don't agree with his statement that KoRn should try making other kinds of music (I mean really, who wants to hear NIN do punk, or Tool do speed metal?). They then just wouldn't be KoRn. Also, you gotta wonder why he states that Issues came soon after Life is Peachy... but that doesn't matter. Let him have his opinion. He does make some points, but other than that I disagree, and definitely think that any real KoRn fan would like this CD. Favorites: Break Some Off, Here It Comes Again, and Alive. If you own Deuce, the DVD's really pointless, and the Right Now vid isn't even the official (If you own Live, you already have the vid part). Cool backstage stuff, much like Deuce, but updated for their Untouchables Tour (probably Pop Sucks). The booklet is pretty nice, showing pics throughout their career, and the case is nice too. What's the deal with calling David "Wally Balljacker"? 5 stars, but I'd give the non-limited edition a 4.

This is amongst Korn's Greatest Albums..the greatest albums being..ALL OF THEM.
I don't know why everyone put's down Untouchables so much even Brian himself said that he thought it was crap.Untouchables is one of the greatest masterpieces of all time.
This album is not that different from previous albums that were released by korn. There were many familiar techniques to about every song that was produced on this album, those techniques being; fieldy's Slapstick Bass which was alluminated in "Everything I've known". There is also David's rythmic pattern's on the symbols. And of course there is that sheer power of 2 k7's ripping it together.
My favourite song on this album is "Alive" which is classic korn. Alive was actually created before the days of Korn by Jonathan Davis, it was just retouched and remastered for this album.
I don't know what Korn was thinking though when they made "Play Me". Play me is just another take at "Children of the Korn" featuring ice cube. It is not one of those songs that strikes a Korn fan as amazing, it needs time to settle in.
I think this album is excellent, it's definite buy..me..I bought both the album and the limited edition because I love this album.

P.S. Those names on the album are just for fun..they did not really change their names.
