Free Music Review: Korn - Take a Look in the Mirror
Hit: 5 Stars

What to say about this CD. It shows growth from a band that has been around over a decade, with songs such as Everything I Know or Counting on Me. It shows that even though you can grow as artists you can still remember your roots, such as Let's Do This Now where Jon Davis brings back his bagpipes or the Duet with Nas on Play Me. The sound is more aggressive, which is something you would think would be hard to do with the bass lines produce from Fieldy's Bass. Jon does just an awesome variety on his vocals. While David shows what I think is a different style of playing the drums, and it works on this album. Lets not leave out Head and Munky, the guitars are here, and they are very good. They are heavy and they are very different, which is good on this CD. Much has changed since the days of Self-Titled, but with this album Korn shows that even though you can mature as artists, you can always remember where you came from and produce a hard hitting song.

Free Music Review: Let's Do This Now - Right Now!
Hit: 5 Stars

Korn has proved for the sixth time that they still rock! After exploring different variations on their style of music, Korn has returned to heavier, more mainstream metal. The album kicks off with the single Right Now and then Break Some Off, both heavy, mainstream songs. But Counting On Me brings back some of Korn's mellow side that we heard on Untouchables. Not to say it's not good, though. Later on comes the single from Tomb Raider 2, Did My Time, as well as the single Let's Do This Now, the traditional bagpipe track Untouchables lacked. Musically, Alive is another heavy radio-type song, but lyrically it's the second Alone I Break. Y'all Want A Single is an instant classic, as is Nas' kick-ass appearance on Play Me, which is in my opinion, Korn's best collaboration to date. A cover of Metallica's One is also hidden at the end of When Will This End, which I keep asking myself about Korn, and the answer is always not yet - cuz they're here to stay!

Free Music Review: They're back, and better than ever...
Hit: 5 Stars

Finally after the long wait for another awesome follow-up to Self titled and Follow the Leader, KoRn has struck its magic into this cd. Is this cd worth a listen, especially if your an old school fan, OH HELL YES. The lyrics in this cd are just full of hate and envy, and it makes the album so incredible, because the lead singer, Jonathan Davis put so much energy into the songs it pumps you up! I am a hadcore KoRn fan, owning all 6 of their cds + KoRn Live and Deuce DVDs plus just about every single they've released on CD. This ties with my number one favorite, the self titled album. The guitar riff, the drums, and the vocals come together so perfectly well, that when I listen to this cd, i'm glued to it, and there is no way that i'm goinna turn it off. So listen up people, if you were a fan of KoRn back in their early days, you should definitely think about pickin up this cd, and trust me you wont be disappointed. Peace out fellow KoRn KiDz.

Free Music Review: Better than Untouchables and S.Y.O.T.O.S
Hit: 5 Stars

I have to say this is Korn's most underrated album. The only song that had some air play was Did My Time which is a heavy song from Korn. Korn went back to basics on this one. I felt that Untouchables was to much of an experimental album. They tried something and it didn't work for them. You can compare this album to their self titled album. They both have that raw sound to it and that straight ahead heavy sound that Korn once had. You don't even get that sound from their new release which isn't bad but it'll take a while to getting use to. The only song that I really didn't care for is Play Me featuring Nas. Ice Cube, would of been better but Nas come on. Probably the main reason this album is so underrated is their former label Epic didn't give Korn much attention than before. I do hope Korn's next album sounds something similar to T.A.L.I.T.M or their self titled album. And maybe Korn will stop worrying about rock getting played on MTV.

Free Music Review: This album will go down in history
Hit: 5 Stars

This album will go down in history as one of the best albums of the 00's, KoRn mixes every album they have ever put out and puts it together, and what do you get??? a dark, heavy emotinal album i'd list my thoughts on the tracks but it would be pointless cause they are all perfect, lyrics riffs bass drums amazing album, when it seems metal is down and out and pop stars are saying rock is dead, and bands like metallica are putting crap records out like st. anger there goes KoRn proving everybody wrong, that you can go back to your roots and that rock is still very much alive. The album title describes what KoRn did perfectly, they took a look in the mirror and honestly looked at there past and made this amazing piece of art that's the only way it can be described as this cd is perfect buy it and see for yourself. Take a look in the mirror. later my fellow KoRn kids. P.S.

The dvd is also kick ass, the Videos kut-up is amazing.
