Well, flat out Kottonmouth Kings always put out great cd's. So I wasnt worried about getting my moneys worth thats for sure. Now, as compared to High Society, this cd is well equipped. High Society overall in my opinion is better but come on people, its not easy to make a come back to beat High Society. Kream of the Krop is packed like a bowl tight with green flavor and shines very brightly when played. Killa Kali is a nice first song and features "The Judge" who sounds like a Kottonmouth King himself. He fits in great on that song and prolly would with any song. Tell Me Why has a lot of meaning to it and nice rymes. Paid Vacation is one of my favorites on this cd. Very catchy! KmK came out with some more fast Punk Rock like Dying Daze and Bi-Polar. I think they were kind of far fetched but the rymes made up for it completly. All about the weed, is all about the weed. Nuff said there. I like Family Trees and especially liked On the Run with Dog Boy. Nice smooth Reggae sound and its just great. My Minds Playin Tricks on me is a sweet song I remember from before. Grow Room Jam is funny and a pretty nice ending to the cd.
As far as the artist themselves. I think D-Loc held his own but didnt dominate like on High Society. Daddy X added flavor and customized Bi-Polar. Johnny Ricter however I think stepped up even more and just busted out everything. One song that sticks out is "All about the Weed" Ricter totally is put on top of the world of smokin tokin. This cd was actually hard to get into, meaning I had to listen to it a few times all the way through. But now that its been done, Im glad it was done. So to the Kottonmouth King fans out there. Yes, go get this cd you need it.
