Free Music Notes for Royal HighnessFree Music Review: The first rap album I wanna mosh to!! Hit: 5 Stars
This music is awesome. I got hooked on the Kings when I saw Scream2 and heard "Suburban Life". And all my friends were like, "what? Mike? This is rap?" because I usually only listen to punk and ska. These guys play it all, hip-hop, punk, reggae, ska and funk. Wanna hear a great song? Tune in to track 7, "Spies f/Humble Gods". Great blends of punk and rap. Other great tunes? "Dogs Life f/ Too Rude and Dog Boy". Perfect song for listenin to at a beach party, itz got rap, reggae and ska. And who could forget the psychedelic rap party of "PSYCHEDELIC FUNK"? And a great party tune, "Bong Tokin' Alchoholics". So buy it. Even if you don't like rap, you'll like the Kings.
Free Music Review: kottonmouth kings are off the hook! Hit: 5 Stars
in my opinion i strongly feel that the kottonmouth kings cd royal highness, is so tight. it's punk rock, rap, reggae, and funk all put together to make a pimped out album. if you haven't tasted kmk's flava, then go check there cd out today. i promises you'll want to be down with the kmk klick as soon as you here one song. and if you like this record, check out there new one, hidden stash. then get kmk's infamous dj bobby b's new cd, 99 rips beyond. also try out too rude self titled album. too rude who is featured on a few songs on the royal highness cd, tears it up with his reggae sounds. i think that kottonmouth kings are the greatest and i really think that you will too. just check it out, and see for yourself!
Free Music Review: Saint Dog's style + old skool KMK style = SWEET! Hit: 5 Stars
Saint Dog (ex-KMK) is in this album. His influence shows and reflects in the music. I must say, this entire album demonstrates how OC gets down back in the day. My favorite song from KMK, has to be "BUMP" - such an awesome song with such energy. This album includes BUMP. Lifestyle is also incorporated in his second album, the fight for freedom and Marijuana legalization is also apparent - thats what KMK stands for! Some great tracks on this album, you must definately check it out. I think this album is great, but not as good as High Society. If you like the old skool sounding style of KMK and that era which originated from SoCal, you MUST MUST check this out. Worth every cent!
Free Music Review: This Is A Blender of Styles Hit: 5 Stars
Okay, I knew I'd have to review this sometime soon, so here it is. This album has been my third favorite album ever (behind Incubus's S.C.I.E.N.C.E. and Videodrone's Videodrone) for at least a year, and it's still in my CD player every day. Kottonmouth Kings mix so many styles in their music, including G-Punk, Metal, Rap, R&B, Ska, Jazz, and lots of other odd bits. Every song on here is great, imparticular Dog's Life, So High, and High Society. Some bands I recommend are (hed) p.e., Primer 55, The Urge, Crazy Town, I.C.P., Twistid, and Dial 7. One last piece of advice, no matter what the recommendations say, DO NOT by all means buy Methods of Mayhem's self titled album.
Free Music Review: KmK and My Opinion Hit: 5 Stars
This is definately the best CD of KmK by all means. Royal Highness has the most unique sound compared to the rest because the beat is more hip hop with the most meaning, and best sounding lyrics. Now everyone says "This one is best because.... Saint Dog.... Saint Dog.... Saint Dog.... etc...." but those people are not true fans of KmK, they are fans of Saint Dog. If you like only him, wait for his CD and don't even think of buying KmK because they are not a group based around 1 person who to me, is not as good as D-Loc and Daddy X when they bust on the mic. Over all, this is for KmK fans and even though Saint Dog is on here, don't buy it for that 1 reason.
