I'm baffled by the reviewers with negative comments who probably hold a secret or dishonest grudge against Kreator (competition???).
Production is not best but the songs (except the short instrumental) are quite strong, fast and aggressive. Some tracks could have been better (longer) but still the brutality in them compensates for it.
And Kreator is among the few (or only) band that never produced a complete dud album like other well known metal bands. I enjoy listening to every Kreator track no matter the album in question.

Kreator never lost the ability to throw down. this is the third album I have bought of theirs and my ears will probably be ringing long after I listen to it. I like the DVD which showed the band making their new album.
the solos are out of this world. this is "Enemy Of God" times 2. does anybody know what Kreator's mascot is? please inform me because somehow the name of the mascot got lost in the translation.

Excellent album. I have to say that I was pretty new to Kreator prior to this album. While I've listened to samples of their stuff, I wasn't really digging it on first listen. However after numerous recommendations on this album, I picked it up and am extremely grateful.
It's just a very brutal and very fun album that's full of energy.

Kreator said some time ago that they wanted to make a record that was more brutal, a-punch-in-the-face kinda record. This album does not disappoint, clocking in around 38.4 minutes...this is Kreator at its best! Enemy of God was a high standard achievement but this record doesn't fall short of that. I saw Kreator live when I was 15 on their Extreme Aggressions Tour back in the late 80's. Hordes Of Chaos is the band's finest effort since that time period. The production is raw and really works well for the songs. It's nice to see a band like Kreator still going strong and carrying the torch. A must buy.
