Although it seems as though Krokus has stolen shamelessly from Kiss, Judas Priest, Motorhead, AC/ DC, and Ted Nugent on this release, it does have some good cuts. I can't resist the hit "Long Stick Goes Boom "; or "Eat The Rich" . In "Screaming In the Night" Krokus are probably going for more of a rock thing than metal, but my favorite cuts are "Ready To Burn" and "Russian Winter". Head Hunter" also features "Night Patrol", " Stay Awake All Night", a Judas Priestish party anthem, and "Stand and Be Counted". I think this album is total heavy metal. I think it's sort of plastic, but it does have some good songs. If you're thinking of getting a Krokus album get this one it's probably best listened to when driving in you're car down a highway with the radio turned up. This album has a lot of good songs and sometimes the best kind of music isn't heavy polemics, or Satanism it's just good time beer drinkin music like Krokus. If you're not a heavy metal fan then keep the hell away, but if you're a Krokus fan then be adequately prepared to rock. Elders stay away, but young hell raisers come one come all and listen to the music of Krokus. I think this is the best Krokus album.
