This is definitly the only atypical and unusual disc of Kylie, it opens with a song called "TOO FAR" really cool song, very electronic and drum and bass, she sings in it and seems like is in drugs or drunk, really great and awesome oppening track !
Beware, cause this disc is really varied, 2nd song is "COWBOY STYLE", seems like a mixture of celtic-pop and country-pop, it's sound a little bir ridiculous at first but the song is really cool, later we'll find two "powerpop" or "indiepoprock" songs called "SOME KIND OF BLISS" (good but it could be better) and "DID IT AGAIN, this last one has a little bit of middle west sounds too, just a little bit, the song is ok too.
Kylie tried with trip hop in this disc too, so we will find:
-BREATHE, a very slow song, very nice and pretty lyrically, in general a great song but i think it coul be a little bit better, anyway is great
-JUMP, wow !!! super great song, i can say the same for "THROUGH THE YEARS" very trip hop and slow with electronic downtempo.
Album offers also electronic experimental songs, and are two:
-SAY HEY, very dance-style, and yes, Kylie sings on it like Björk !!!, another similar song is "DRUNK", really dance and electro, sounds like an "INFECTED MUSHROOM" (band) song, really perfect both songs !!
There is an attempt to electronic rock, very hard ! called "LIMBO", intersting song and even more intersting comming from Kylie, cool song !
At last, disc close with "DREAMS" a very slow pop song for me with "middle west" sounds too.
Basically, the album is good and i love the direction but some songs sounds unfinished or could be better, but do not worry, the album is nice.
This edition comes with a BONUS DISC, it has the b-side LOVE TAKES OVER ME, like a trip-hop song, very slow and cool !!!, and the other b-side is TEARS very electronic and reminds me INFECTED MUSHROOM style too, is perfect.
The rest are remixes, i do not know what do you think about remixes, i have always thought that sometimes they are just "filling" but in this case all the remixes are really really cool !!! very electronic and experimentals, specially those remixes for the "BREATHE" song. This is a surprisly exception.
This bonus cd close with an ok demo called THIS GIRL:
Talking about the booklet, is basically the same that was releaqsed originally in 1997-1998, it just has two extra pages with extramini pictures of sigles released form the album in it specifically time with a review talking about the process of makink the album, it is nice.
So, if you are a Kylie Fan, this is a must have
If you are one of those who just listen Easy pop songs, maybe you won't like the album
And if you like alernaqtive music, try with this disc, you will be susprised and even you will ask yourself, IS SHE REALLY KYLIE??

I love having this cd in my collection. I am a follower of this huge international star and this cd is a must. Most of Kylie's cds are pop influenced and catchy tracks that could be played at anywhere. Whether hearing overhead at a local store or dancing at the disco. This one is special. I actually remember the remix of Did It Again from my Saturday night escapades at clubs. Huge club hit!!! I didn't really get interested in her catalog until Can't Get You Outta My Head was release. But after ready somewhere about the darkness and vulnerability of Impossible Princess, I needed to hear it. Time passed and every couple of years I bought a new Kylie tour on dvd. Every concert contains some tracks from Impossible Princess. This cd must be special to Kylie and since I love to find cds that express deeper, meaningful songs from the artist. I finally bought it! The special re-released edition with that remix of Did It Again! What memories that brought back. Kylie always intriguing, sexy, mysterious and lovely.Free Music Review: A strong KYLIE pop sound that is not IMPOSSIBLE hear !

If you have become a fan of MINOGUE's massive EMI release "FEVER" then I strongly suggest for you to get yourself a copy of this CD. You'll enjoy the numerous remixes that contain the same essence as FEVER. The track listing on this CD is the perfect companion to compliment the "FEVER" collection.
Note the song "SOME KIND OF BLISS", it's yet a new musical departure for Ms. KYLIE. The song has a spirit and feel that will remind the listener of the BRITPOP sound (horns & strings mixed with electric guitars and upfront vocals).
This CD is truly worth purchasing.
Listen to it with all your speakers blaring out loud!

I have been waiting this cd for a long time, I listen and its great. Im saying, if you dont have this cd, buy it!Its a great cd, but there are other from Kylie that are better than this one, like Fever or Light Years. But if you are fan of kylie you will have to own this cd, even that is a recopilation of others cd.
