I picked up this CD at the Virgin Megastore at the Louvre Museum in France. I must say, it's appropriate that I bought it there because it's masterpiece. First, there are some songs that I just can't stand. Thay are: "Loveboat" and "Kids." I just don't like "Loveboat" and "Kids" is just really stupid. I really like "Spinning Around" a lot and "Butterfly." OK, some of the songs are pretty random, if you know what I mean, but it's still a really fun CD. It's a rare piece of work that you should own. I'm the only person I konw that owns this! Kylie is an amazing artist, she rules. If you liked Kylie's new US release, "Fever" you should get this CD. It's really good. I do like Fever better, but this CD is still really good. You should pick it up now! You won't regret it! Enjoy!Free Music Review: The princess of Pop

Kylie's Light Years Album is a delight. In my opinion it's the best Album I have heard. It's perfact, it's hard hitting, beautiful and melodic. It starts of with the hit Spinning Around that I'm sure every one has heard. Followed by another hit, On A Night Like This. So Now Goodbye is a great song too. Please Stay is a wonderful song and very latino-sounding with the the Spanish Guitar and Hand Claps. Another masterpiece is Your Disco Needs you. I simply cant't stop listening to it. The Casino Remix is however superior to the original release. It's much more alive without being exhausting like some remixes tend to be. Under The Influence of Love and I'm so High are both excellent. The Album ends with the atmospheral Light Years. Very inventive and secretive song. I didn't know this girl before but bought her album Light Years because I heard her beautiful song Please Stay in my record store. This girl can sing. It's a shame we never see her on the TV and radio.This album has a lot of styles and influences:
-Techno (Spinning Around, So Now Goodbye, Disco Down)
-Trance (Light Years)
-R&B / Hip Hop (Under The Influence Of Love)
-Hard Rock (Kids)
-Rock (I'm So High)
-Cabaret (Loveboat, Koocachoo, Disco Needs You)
-Classical (Bittersweet Goodbye)
My personal favorites are Light Years, Loveboat and Please Stay. If you like Britney and The spice Girls, you should like Light Years. This girl also recorded another record called Rhthm Of love.

This album takes Kylie back to her roots - pure pop - and infuses it with a strong blend of higly dancable, infectious backbeat. Sure it's high camp, but that makes for a pleasant change from the plain pop that her competition have been putting out there lately. This takes Kylie out of the darker, more personal albums like Kylie Minogue and Impossible Princess, and returns her to centre stage where she belongs. With a handfull of number-one singles, it's surprisingly not springled with a few good songs and a lot of filler like her earlier albums - everything on this one is good. Kylie has brought with her a host of top-name collaborators on this album to turn out what is probably the best pop album of the year.Free Music Review: It's the greatest thing that I could ever wish for...

O.k. thats an exageration. But I really think this is a great album. It's a solid collection of pop tunes in different styles, from disco to 60's to "rock" overall very enjoyable.O.K My top three picks...1.ON A NIGHT LIKE THIS...A great dance tune,very catchy,very sexy...2.KOOCACHOO...A campy very upbeat song, with a very catchy chorus..3.YOUR DISCO NEEDS YOU...Yes it does. A very ridiculous and ridiculously addictive song...Songs I hate..1.KIDS...This song is horrible. I wouldn't let my worst enemy hear this [junk], I wouldn't want them to suffer. I can't believe it was a big hit overseas...Overall a very good pop album, campy and fun. Looking foward to hearing more from Kylie.
