While Fever is the album that has finally broken Kylie in North America, this previous set is in fact a far more infectious, highly camp and totally satisfying FUN album. Light Years combines all of the best elements of 70s disco-pop wrapped up in state of the art production, lyrics that are disposable (without being insulting), irresistible beats and a completely winning sense of humour. Imagine the perfect soundtrack to a cocktail/disco/pool party and you have it. This album is the precursor to FEVER and is just as good. And in reponse to ::Just for your information, there is a hidden track, "Password", at the very beginning of the album. When "Spinning around" comes on, you need to hold your finger on the rewind button of your cd player and rewind into the song (this must be the first time a hidden track is at the beginning of an album).:: It was actually done by Robyn first lolol.Free Music Review: travel in light years....

it's an amazing album... if you have Fever you might like it's predecessor Light Years! This album has some great dance songs on it, it has a sweet ballad on it and it has some really fun songs... It is camp, it is disco, it is pure fun! The highlights include Spinning Around, On A Night Like This, Butterfly, and Light Years among others, there is hardly a song on this that I don't like! Here in Australia she started with Spinning around then On a night like this, then her cool song for Kids with Robbie Williams and she's just hit number 1 with her new song Please Stay. This CD is much differant from her older ones such as Kylie or Enjoy Yourself... This CD is my favorite because it is pure dicso.. The song Your Disco Needs You is one of the best songs. Aswell as Spinning Around and Butterfly. If you love Kylie or your a new fan who has yet to buy a CD of Kylie I highly recomend Light Years!
