Free Music Notes for XFree Music Review: Don't compare with Madonna Hit: 5 StarsNot only is each song on this LP "pop-ally" superior to ANYTHING Madonna has ever recorded, Minogue has a MUCH nicer personality. Please don't compare that thing, pseudo-brit, gap-toothed, no talent humanoid Madonna to this true talent: Kylie Minogue.
Even though this LP does have some mellow moments, you'll not find them all to "non danceable". Each track on this collection has it's own character and function. Fun and frisky is the collection of songs. Produced with just the right instrumentations that do not overload Minogue's glorious vocals. These tracks are written well and don't try to be what they're not: This is fun pop and it's well done.
Great job Ms. Minogue. So pleased that your cancer scare is over and you can STILL give this quality of music. Blessings to you and your soul.
Purchase this LP, you'll be spinning this sucker for ions.
Free Music Review: So much better than the last album Hit: 5 StarsAfter being disappointed with Kylie's last studio album, I was a bit wary of X. Thank heavens my worries were unfounded when I heard a few tracks off the album on a mixed cd a friend made for me. Now that I have heard X in its entirety, I have to say this is definitely a vast improvement over BODY LANGUAGE (which I thought was a dreadful mess). The songs are infectious and addictive. The electro beats reminded me of some of Madonna's music in the last few years like on track 4 "Speakerphone" but a lot catchier. As a breast cancer survivor, Kylie could have easily taken the introspective approach to her new album but she didn't. Instead she created a highly energetic electro-pop album that is a ton of fun to listen to. The melodies are addictively catchy. The only song I didn't care for is "All I See". I didn't care much for the melodies. My personal favorite tracks are: "In My Arms", "Speakerphone", "The One", and "No More Rain" (which is my personal favorite song on the album). I am so glad that Kylie has bounced back from breast cancer and that mess that is called BODY LANGUAGE. She has put out the best pop album I have heard in a long time.

Free Music Review: Kylie's Career Best Hit: 5 StarsAll killer. No filler. This is Kylie's best work to date.
Track after single-worthy track, X listens like a greatest hits CD. Only you better buckle up because the Petite Princess of Pop is gonna seduce you, rock you, serenade you then leave you dazed with excitement. Fresh, unapologetic electro-pop-dance tunes have always been her trademark. And girlfriend drives it home.
Standout tracks include:
Like A Drug - This will be her CGYOOMH when she releases it. Sure-fire monster hit.
In My Arms - Should've been her lead-off single in the US. Her record company is clueless about marketing her in America.
Speakerphone - The opening track to her current world tour. Listen and you'll see what a great entrance this number makes.
The One - Electro-dance heaven for addicts of the hypnotic, pulsing rush.
Stars - Daring rock treatment for a catchy song with an anthemic chorus. I can see hands waving in the arena.
Wow - Bona fide hit already.
Nu-di-ty - Playful, irresistable ear worm. You know it's bad for you.
Enough said. This will be your soundtrack for the summer and beyond.
Free Music Review: A disappointed come back Hit: 2 StarsI am sorry Kylie, i have to say, "NOPE", even though i owned this cd, and sadly to say that i only plays it once.
Any how, i still manage to find at least 2 songs which i thought it served as a consolation to the money i had spent.
Looking forward her forthcoming release either the 11th studio album or a live dvd, who knows? May be.
