Free Music Review: Another great one from Lance Lopez!

This is Lance's follow up to "Wall of Soul". I think "Wall" edges out "Simplify Your Vision". Much broader musical range to it. And it had a funky vibe going on, which isn't as noticeable on "Simplify". This release is more focused in it's musical direction. Hence the title, "Simply Your Vision". More of a typical blues/rock SRV influenced feel to it. Some keyboards and even a little touch of "Jazz Fusion" on a couple tunes. Lance also takes a few tunes and extends them into some exciting guitar extravaganzas'. To me the songs, song writing & production on "Wall" stood out slightly ahead of "Simplify". If you liked "Wall" this is still a must have for your collection, solid 4 stars. If you're a fan of Hendrix, Trower & SRV inspired musicians, you should enjoy Lance Lopez's work. Very talented. If you also like such acts as Eric Gales, Joe Bonamassa, Stevie Salas, Indigenous, KWS, and Craig Erickson give Lance a spin. If you're new to Lance start w/ "Wall of Soul".
