I read the reviews before purchasing this CD, so I was prepared for what it is. If you are just looking for music to play to your baby, this is not the CD for you. This is a GREAT program of guided visualizations to help ease anxiety, fear, and pain during pregnancy and labor. But it takes engagement on your part. Some people who reviewed this CD seemed to be confused about the non-musical affirmations. I don't understand what the confusion is all about...it is exactly how it's described...2-3 plain affirmations (just a spoken voice, no music) between each visualization that you're supposed to repeat to yourself several times. At first I felt a little goofy doing this, but once I got into the habit, I REALLY felt like it helped solidify the visualization experience. I give this CD the highest recommendation because it really helped me be relaxed and have a great pregnancy experience.
