This was an interesting album that should have been just as successful as Janet's "Control". It's even better than "Control"! Side One (mainly produced by Full Force) was directed at the American audience & Side Two was directed at the European audience. "You're Gonna Get Rocked", "You Blew" & "Such A Wicked Love" (which had a great 12" remix released as a single) should have been big hits for LaToya. Side Two had three songs produced by Stock-Aitkin-Waterman (who were extremely popular at that time). Those songs are "Just Say No", "(Tell Me) He Means Nothing To You", & "(Ain't Nobody Loves You) Like I Do". Unfortunately, they produced and/or wrote much better music for other artists. Donna Summer, Samantha Fox, Rick Astley, & Hazel Dean come to mind. LaToya deserved better tunes from them. There's also a duet with someone named John Pagano called "If I Could Get To You". LaToya needs to be cut some serious slack. She's given every album she's ever recorded her all. I think it's unfair when people say she can't sing. Michael & Janet don't exactly have strong pipes that can blow someone away. LaToya's a talent in her own right!
