Free Music Review: This time the lamb does the slaughter!
Hit: 5 Stars

For awhile now I never really liked lamb of god but I decided to go ahead and buy this cd after already owning Ashes in the Wake and discovered a new must have band for any metalhead's collection. This band kicks your [...] from the start to the finish on this cd. I have become a serious lamb of god fan now and I listen to this cd and ashes all the time now. All their political digs aside which I don't fully agree with this band has a killer sound and the vocals make them even better they fit the type of brutallity you hear when you play songs like Walk with me in Hell,or Redneck. This band is one of best in American metal alongside Killswitch of course. I would recomend this cd to anybody who likes brutal, heavy hard hitting metal that kicks [...] from start to finish.

All I can say is that reading reviews on Amazon is like trying to swallow yourself--hopelessly pointless but still enticing in a creepy circus-sideshow sort of way! for all we know most of the guys that ripp off albums in reviews are a) Drugged up to the hilt and spewing random garbage for the sake of being "heard" b)not even fans of the music they are bad mouthing or c) failed and jealous wannabe musicians.

Now, Lamb of god have oodles talent and they have a new album out. Is it any good? You decide. Do I think it is? Abso-f***ing-lutely! But who should care about my opinion anyway? Just listen to the cd and make up your own bloody minds! this, the new mastodon album and the children of bodom dvd will probably be the releases of the year.

Free Music Review: READ MY REVIEW!! (If you haven't heard it yet)
Hit: 5 Stars

This album is better than ever from "Ashes Of The Wake"! Their last album was more angry and sounds more pissed, but this album sounds darker and kick a** guitar solos! "Beating On Death's Door" was a really groovy sound, "Blacken The Cursed Sun" had a groovy part at the beginning too. "Walk With Me In Hell" had really catchy guitars and great song to start off the album! "Pathetic" and "Again We Rise" are the best tracks in this album!!! Randy is using his high-pitch screeches more than ever! So what parts of Randy's vocals sounds like Metallica, it's groovy as hell! Randy's vocals in the beginning of "More Time To Kill" was great! And good drumming in the beginning of "Forgotten (Lost Angles)"! GET THIS!!!!!!!!

Free Music Review: Lethal
Hit: 5 Stars

Their last effort was o.k., but this one is insane! Every facet of their sound, from the musicianship to the songwriting to the vocals, to the production by someone named Machine, is superlative and will send you to get a hearing aid later in life. "Redneck", since it compels me to crank the stereo up to eleven and thrash around my living room, is undoubtedly my neighbors' favorite tune, while "Again We Rise" adds a little gothic (not goth) texture to their pummeling attack for a hair raising assault on your ears. With its driving chorus, "Blacken the Cursed Sun" is another highlight, but they are all worthy metal anthems. If you get only one metal c.d. this year, this would be the one.

Free Music Review: Slightly Different Completely Devestating
Hit: 5 Stars

LOG still hasn't let us down. Don't let the accessable melodies and back-to-basics-sound of the first single: "Redneck" fool you, they haven't sold out. Randy actually has some range in his nicotine-scorched vocal chords and the band's songwriting has just gotten better.

On the DVD, fans will either love it or be bored in some spots. Either way, Chris, Mark, John, and Willie come across as dedicated, driven, focused, serious and intelligent musicians. Chris (Drums) especially comes across as a gentle soul and the most intelligent. Riding a bike 10 miles to and from the studio to help strengthen his double-bass playing legs.

Enjoy.
