Free Music Review: A Diva Among Divas ...

I read a review of Lara Fabian's work two weeks ago in which it was stated that she was the successor to Celine Dion during her hiaitus. Well, I got Lara's English-language CD last week, and I must say that I am so impressed (i.e., instant fan) that I am now trying to acquire her French and Italian titles. She has an incredible and powerful voice, full of emotion. She is just as talented, if not more so than Celine, and I would put her in a class with other distinguished female vocalists such as Miriam Stockley, Sarah Brightman, and Annie Haslam (whom by the way has done her own version of Adagio). Lara Fabian is one of those divas whose voice is an instrument. If you enjoy powerful, melodic, and pure vocalists, I'd strongly recommend this CD. Enjoy!Free Music Review: Not Your Regular Pop Diva

Lara Fabian transcends the pop genre, much too much by far. Her melodious connection from note to note is right on the dot and her interpretations always match the music that she is handed, and though agreeably, there are some songs in the album that have been branded as bland, it is not through any fault of her own that they don't "latch" on as quick. To the reviewer who said that she should speak better English, give me a break. She also doesn't "just about duets with anyone" (i.e., Josh Groban is not "just anyone"). This top-notch lady can sing anything (in any genre in my opinion) and doesn't need any vocal acrobatics to coat her appeal and vocal reach. Lara Fabian's first English album is amazing! All of the tracks in the album have the potential to become huge hits.I have been listening to that CD everyday, since December'99 as it was released earlier in my country. Her talent should be admired because she has an unbelievable voice, and a great song writer. My favorites are : "I am who I am", "Adagio", "Part of me", "You're not from here", "I will love again", "Till i get over you", "To love again"(Si tu m'aimes)....All of the songs are very strong in feelings.It's worth to buy this album, because it will be a part of your life in the following years.Free Music Review: Her next English album will appear next year

The rumored duet between Celine Dion and Lara Fabian was denied by Lara's manager. Bummer.Once again, Lara's breath taking, stunning voice quality, highly personal delivery, wide and dynamic range / incredible vocal range, depth of emotions, lung power, level of raw honesty, sincerity, courage, highly personal meaningful journeys, signature vocals, vocal maturity, world class caliber as far as technical perfection, mix of iron-strength and vulnerability will be around for a long time. A colloboration with Celine with lend international name recognition for Lara Fabian.
And, when is she going to re-release "CARUSO" for the mass audience to give her a proper royal welcome?

Lara Fabian has a beautiful voice in the tradition of Celine Dion and Barbara Streisand! Only better! She writes her own songs and her music evokes true emotion. Every song on this CD is a classic. Upon a few times listening to this magic voice I was swept away and can't get enough. Trust me, you will be hearing from Lara for a long time. This is her first English album and it is great! She has many power ballads and some dance numbers that showcase her vocals. The song I WILL LOVE AGAIN is a great tune, already #1 at Billboard Dance Airplay. If you buy only one CD this year, this should be it! Because you will be hearing this music well into the next decade.
