Laurence Juber has played with McCartney, Harrison and Starr .. so he certainly has the background. He manages to bring his own warmth and emotion to the songs he plays here, while remaining faithful to the originals. Lovely guitar pieces by the Great Laurence Juber. I listen to this over and over. It's amazing that people can play like this. If you love fingerstyle and jazz, you'll love this. (I adore people who play like this: Michael Hedges, Leo Kottke, and other fingerstylists.) I want more!!!Free Music Review: Good guitar, somewhat short.

Very well played Beatles songs, some beautiful guitar. Unfortunately most Beatles songs are short, and so are most of the songs on the CD (around 2:30 min for the majority).
If the songs were longer and the guitar even more intricate, it would be an amazing CD.

Listening to Laurence Juber's CD is an entirely enjoyable experience for anyone who has an appreciation of fingerpicking guitar style. LJ's phrasing and unbelievable technique present the classic Beatles songs in the best possible light. A must buy!Free Music Review: I really like this

This is an awesome acoustical album. Here's where the 5 stars come in. He plays Beatles songs and 2 of them are "Here Comes The Sun" and "While My Guitar..." I hope there are more albums like this.
