I can't believe someone would not enjoy this CD. My 2 kids ( ages 1 and 2 1/2) love this CD. Sometimes it is the only thing that will keep them happy. I will admit, if you are new to Laurie Berkner, it seems a little boring at first. But, after listening to it a couple of times, it is incredible. the words are so easy to learn and the tunes are catchy. I don't even mind if they are trapped in my head all day (unlike the other kid songs we have). We also have We Are the Dinosaurs, and love that one, too. I can't wait to get Laurie's other 2 CDs. I tell everyone about Laurie Berkner, she is a true gem.Free Music Review: 10 stars for Laurie Berkner!!!

My kids (and ME) LOVE Laurie Berkner, she is the best for kids music and we all dance to all the CD's that we have of hers (and trust me, we have quite a few!!) Get them all if you can - especially the DVD - her clothes are so colorful, they are very playful and my kids (and ME) LOVE LOVE LOVE HER!
A+ to Laurie Berkner and also The Laurie Berkner Band! I wish she'd go on tour, I'd be there in a heartbeat! It's great clean music for your kids - I take them on the field trips with the Kindergarten classes and all the kids sing along!

"Under a Shady Tree" is a staple in our household- it's fun, musically and lyrically diverse, and irresistably catchy like all of her albums. This is an album that keeps the kids hooked (for no less than 20 tracks!) and my husband and I happy. We've been fans for some years now and Laurie never disappoints.
And some of the best songs from this album are also on the new DVD "We Are the Laurie Berkner Band" ("Under a Shady Tree," "I'm Gonna Catch You"), which features Noggin-style videos of her songs. She's really upped the ante with that one!

We love all of Laurie's CDs. We own all of them & they are all wonderful! I recommend them for any toddler! My daughter first saw her on Noggin & was instantly hooked. We first bought Victor Vito & then just about wore that CD out so we needed to add to our collection. My 2 year old sings these songs all of the time & listens to them at preschool too! I also love these CDs, they are happy, sweet songs that won't drive a parent nuts! I find myself listening to the CD long after I have dropped my daughter off without even realizing it!Free Music Review: Our Favorite CD

I bought this CD after noticing how much my 3 year old loved listening to Laurie on Noggin. This instantly became her favorite CD and she had almost the whole thing memorized after a week. My daughter doesn't usually like to play by herself, but if I put this CD in, she'll sit in her room and play with her toys while listening to it. The songs are excellent. The music is incredibly creative. My husband and I also enjoy it and we plan on buying more of Laurie's CD's and videos soon!
