My 4 year old daughter loves all of the Laurie Berkner CDs. Laurie is the most frequently requested musician when we're in the car, and we sing her songs all the time. My husband isn't a huge fan (although he definitely prefers this over the Wiggles!) but I enjoy the songs and haven't been pushed to the point of annoyance as with many other children's CDs. The songs are great. The older songs are performed with originality, and the new songs are a lot of fun. I highly recommend any/all of the Laurie Berkner CDs.Free Music Review: Super Buy

My 2 year old and I have been enjoying Laurie Berkner's videos on Noggin so much, that I chose this CD to buy. Although we'd heard only one of the tracks that are on this album, I thought that the rest of her songs would be a sure bet. I was right! Talk about toe-tapping, fun-songs-in-your-head type of music. I don't think there's one song we don't enjoy together, and all lyrics are included, too, so we can learn to sing along. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas (2 years old). She is still playing it 2 months later non-stop. I must admit, the first song is by far her most favourite so we often get no further into the CD than track 1. Nevertheless, and despite the repetition, I am delighted to have successfully enticed her away from the TV. She sings along, stomps her feet, and is now more interested in all kinds of music although none others we have tried stack up so well as this.Free Music Review: Ali M

My 18 month old loves this CD and asks for it everyday by pointing to our CD player and saying, "'Saur! 'Saur!" for the first song on dinosaurs. He dances and bops around our living room - which is great exercise when it's cold out. I know all the songs by heart now, but as far as kid's music goes I do not find this to be too grating. We have just ordered another one of Berkner's CD's we liked this one so much. Ralph's World CD's are also favourites in our house.Free Music Review: Relief to my ears!

As a music lover, it was pure torture to listen to children's music in the car. This CD changed all that. Gone are the corny singing voices and chimy music that plague most generic children's CDs. Laurie's pure, simple voice and guitar are welcome in my car anytime. My kids love it, and ask for the "dinosaur song" as soon as I start the car. My personal favorite is "I have a chicken". You can't go wrong. I prefer this CD over Victor Vito, but both are great.
