I purchased this CD after my daughter showed how much she LOVED the skits in between her favorite Noggin shows. Now everytime I play the songs, she sings, dances and does actions along with them, and runs to the TV and says she wants to see the lady. I also purchased Victor Vito, the title song is such a fun song. I plan to purchase the rest of her CDs, and I also saw that the song Victor Vito was made into a book, we have to get that also since she loves to read!!Free Music Review: Catchy little tunes!

If I have to listen to this CD one more time I'm going to scream! With that said, however, it is a very enchanting CD and now that I know ALL THE WORDS to every song (because my daughter makes me play it over and over) it's fun to sing along. The dinosaur song is our absolute favorite. And the folksy "What falls in the fall" is one that you will sing in your head even when the music is not on. Great songs from Laurie Berkner...but then again, aren't they all?Free Music Review: Love us some Laurie

Laurie is a big hit in our household. This CD is particularly good. My almost 2 year old can sing along with almost every song. Most of the songs are upbeat but there a few lullabies that we sing to her at bedtime. Adults can listen to this without going completely bonkers, as there are different musical styles used, and Laurie does not resort to high pitched "kiddie" voices, just fun simple lyrics and easy rhythms. Laurie Berkner became a household favorite through her Noggin videos, and this album lived up to our expectations. It's silly but not too silly, upbeat but not too crazy, and just plain fun for everyone! Parents will recognize some of the classic songs on here, and others will quickly become new "classics" for you and your kids.
And side note - there's a video for "We Are the Dinosaurs" on Laurie's new DVD "We Are the Laurie Berkner Band"!

The rave reviews of this product are correct. My four year old twins love this cd and request it constantly. I hear them singing songs from this album around the house - it's so cute. Lots of repetition and easy words with catchy melodies make it a gem for preschoolers. I also love how Laurie Berkner ties in so many animals and noises that create a visual story for imaginative children. She's wonderful and so is this cd!
