One of the greatest rock bands of all time, and their recordings have NEVER sounded better. I've heard some of their LP's, and listened to their CD releases, but listening to this boxed set was an experience. These remastered CD's kick the vinyl format's ..., and even improve over their individual CD re-releases. There is a great mixture of beautiful ballads, and pure andrenaline-pumping rock! They were a band that wasn't afraid to explore new sounds, as well as be true to their blues roots. If you've wanted to own all of their albums, but are going to try to buy them all seperately, I would highly advise against that. I tried that at first, but there is really no point. It's all here in one beautiful box, sounding better than ever. Awesome!Free Music Review: The greatest band ever!!!

Every household should own this box set. It's a complete documentation of all the studio albums by the one and only Led Zeppelin. Some albums, in truth, are not as good as others--that's only expected. For me, In Through The Out Door is their weakest effort by far. My favorite is their first album. Most people will probably say IV, but for me, I is it! Can you imagine what rock fans thought when they heard such a full, sophisticated, hard-rocking production in 1969?? There were a lot of jaws dropping, for sure! Their take on classic blues cuts propelled them to an unprecedented level of musicanship, intensity, and production quality in the world of rock. This box set blew me away from the moment I saw it. Just the packaging itself is stunningly beautiful, and sends the message that it contains some of the best music ever recorded. The black sleeves are also stunningly beautiful, as are the individual booklets and the 64-page book. It has some amazing photographs. So even the packaging is awesome. On to the music.This the one collection I have found where EVERY SINGLE SONG is perfect. Absolutley perfect. There is not one bad lyric, not one missed beat, not one bum solo. Every second, from the first album to the four bonus tracks....it must be heard to be believed. If you are looking for something truly perfect in a 90's music wasteland, pick this one up. You won't be sorry.

I am a new fan of Zeppelin. I have been listening to them about a year now. I'm 15 and I wish I could have lived back when Zeppelin was still playing live. Oh, well. I bought the Led Zeppelin greatest hits (early days, latter days) and it was sub-par to say the least. It was missing obvious hits like Over the Hills and Far Away, Thank You, etc., so I bought the box set. It is amazing to say the least. Not only does it include every studio recorded album, it also looks great. It comes in a very convenient box that stores the CD's. If you are buying this, I also recommend How the West Was Won, DVD, The Song Remains the Same (Both cd and DVD) and BBC Sessions. Then, you'll have every Zeppelin CD and you'll feel cool.Free Music Review: Possibly the best band ever.

Led Zeppelin, to me, symobilze what rock and roll is. It can be anything. Led Zeppelin, to me, symoblize what a rock ban should sound like. Brilliant rythym section, excellent riffs, and a great singer. Personally, every member is important. Robert Plant is the god of singing, from low to screeching high. Jimmy Page is the riff master, who has made some of the best riffs ever made. John Paul Jones is the brilliant bassist, the observer, who watches everything with careful prescion. And John Bonham, who revolutionized the way drums should sound. Every album they made is a classic, and I am a proud owner of every album. I think that this band is probably the greatest band of all time. I just had to say that. Thank you.
